Comments: The other issue for me is that when I do have an opinion to express about some current event, I find myself at odds with demands of a loser who constantly demands people express opinions in his favor. Even when I agree with him, I refuse to go down that path. It is embarrassing to agree with someone who is so abusive behind the keyboard.

Comments: Resistance forces invade occupied Palestine, settlers captured, rockets hit all across the occupied land
Comments: Unfortunately, it is true that the noble peace prize has become a political tool. With it having gone to people like the US president, it has very little reputation left. I think this will bring a temporary attention to the struggles of people of Iran, but I it will be very temporary and minimal. This is not a big deal that people would like it to be.
Comments: I think we have pests from the other page again. Nice call Agha Zinsky.
Comments: why do you want to keep quiet when an Iranian woman during these times wins a noble peace price. Why are you worried what the other people on this site think?
Comments: Believe me, I get it. Some people enjoy online arguments. Some don’t! No matter what one say, it will start an argument, no matter the subject. Some people just are not into it. I think we can understand and respect it. I have been dragged into so many arguments on subjects that are silly. Whatever I say could be used against me. I’ve been called many things and labeled many things. It’s not fun. It requires a thick skin to get into discussion with certain groups that are doing nothing but act as if they are! Sometimes I wish I could just keep quiet. I better let it go.
Comments: Agha Zinsky, نگرفتى Simply saying that regardless of what you wish, any statement made or not made , in its nature is a political statement You cannot escape it. Doesn’t matter if it is a football forum or an art discussion group. If the subject is written or mentioned, the reactions will define your standing. This was in response to your complaint about political nature of reaction to this news.
Comments: So we use her to gain points? It’s our job to be recognized based on what we say in a football page? The award itself speaks volume. Do we need to use the news to promote our standing? That is our problem. We think our voices here, in this football page is going to make a difference. 44 years later, people are struggling in Iran and we continue arguing who is pro or against the regime! With this attitude, we will be fighting each other for another 40 years while people like her suffer.
Comments: Agha Zinsky, of course is political. Is not Asian games medal count. It is the most prestigious award with a message of support for women, life, liberty. And reacting to it, speaks of your political inclination. You either happy about it, angry or neutral or silent. Either way indicates where you are politically. Yes, even silence speaks.
Comments: I’ve been reading various massage boards with so many crazy reactions. I’m really disappointed.
Comments: Narges Mohammadi Wins the Noble Prize and all sides make it political. Of course IRI hates it and calls it a political stunt. I can understand their motives. Different groups living abroad can’t even agree what to say about this. If they say nothing, they are accused of hating her or supporting the regime. If they say anything negative, of course they will look stupid. Even if they congratulate her, somehow, someone will find a way to put them down. This seems like a no brainer. A jailed freedom activist who has spent most of her life fighting for women in Iran is not a chess piece for all to use for their benefit. The worst part is that everyone (including me) need to say something about this. It speaks for itself.
