He also says that Trump is lying to manipulate the markets again. Negotiations are not close and will fail because of Isarel.

Great discussion of USA foreign policy, CIA, Venezuela, Iran, Cuba, all are discussed in this video. Turns out CIA has been involved in 46 regime change operations since 1947. He thinks that Kennedy lost his life because he tried to bring CIA operation under control. I think that in combination with Kennedy leaning on Israel to give up its nuclear weapons was the reason.

It amazes me to see how resilient Iranians are. By Iranians I mean the ones living in Iran. For almost 1/2 century they have been subjected to just about everything imaginable and most, if not all, are horrible. From revolution to 8 years of war to costs going higher and higher almost nonstop. Sanctions, not be able to travel abroad, to being called terrorists and … The past year has been even worse. With all that, they still do what they can to live a decent life. They have kept the celebrations for Nowruz to weddings and birthdays. They still go out and enjoy what is left to celebrate. That is one thing the west never understood. These people have been through hell and still going. All these pains made them stronger and stronger. They might not have much but they have families and love for their country and culture.

Maybe!!! Maybe not…
The US and Iran have reached an agreement, mediated by Pakistan, that includes a full ceasefire — including any targeting of infrastructure — “freedom of navigation” in the Persian Gulf and Strait of Hormuz, and a gradual lifting of economic sanctions on Iran, the Iranian semi-official news agency ILNA said in a post on Telegram.
While the post from the ILNA made no mention of Iran’s nuclear enrichment program, it stated that negotiations on “outstanding issues” would begin within seven days. US and Iranian negotiators have been working toward an agreement that would bring both parties back to the table for second-round negotiations after a first round fell apart in mid-April.

Chief of staff quits after Fetterman votes against ending Trump war powers

Yet again, U.S. Sen. John Fetterman stood alone as the sole Democrat in opposition to a resolution seeking an end to President Donald Trump's attacks in Iran. Two days later, his chief of staff resigned.

On May 19, the Senate advanced a measure to end the war in Iran by 50-47, USA TODAY reported. Similar measures have repeatedly failed, with Fetterman breaking from his party to cast the deciding vote against a similar resolution less than a week earlier on May 13.

May 19 marked the eighth time the senator from Pennsylvania has voted against stopping Trump from attacking Iran uninhibited.

On May 21, two days after Fetterman voted against the measure to end the war in Iran, his chief of staff resigned, according to Axios. Cabelle St. John, the third chief of staff to leave Fetterman's office since he joined the Senate in 2023, served in the role less than a year, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.
