Comments: Every call is challenged. I haven't seen such an animated game in a long time!
Comments: I am watching the game as well. Newcastle finally put one in. They are fighting very hard!
Comments: By the way, it looks like Golpa passed away. May he rest in peace. He was a great singer.
Comments: Not sure you guys are watching Castle against Arsenal. It is one hell of a game. Man the right side of Castle can run. But the game has also had four yellow cards in the first half alone. Lots of angry players. Not sure why thsi game is so hotly contested.

Comments: The US has intelligence that Russia's Wagner mercenary group plans to provide Iran-backed Lebanese militia Hezbollah with an air defense system. The Wall Street Journal cited unidentified US officials as saying that Wagner plans to supply the Pantsir-S1 system, known by NATO as the SA-22, which uses anti-aircraft missiles and air-defense guns to intercept aircraft. Wagner Group, which was funded by the Russian state and has been brought firmly under Kremlin control since an aborted mutiny by its former leader, Yevgeny Prigozhin, in June, did not reply to a request for comment from Reuters. One unidentified US official quoted by the Journal said that Washington had not confirmed that the system had been sent. But US officials are monitoring discussions involving Wagner and Hezbollah, the Journal said. The Journal said that the Pantsir system would be provided to Hezbollah via Syria, where Russia propped up President Bashar al-Assad by entering the civil war there in 2015. Iran's Revolutionary Guards founded Hezbollah in 1982, in the middle of Lebanon's 1975-90 civil war. It was part of Iran's effort to export its 1979 Islamic Revolution around the region and fight Israeli forces after their 1982 invasion of Lebanon. Lebanon's Hezbollah has been exchanging fire with Israeli forces across the border since its Palestinian ally Hamas in Gaza declared war on Israel on October 7.
Comments: Faramarz, A quick update on my solar. Today was the anniversary of the installation and I was looking at the overall performance. I got to hand it to them. They predicted the usage and generated amount very well. This was an unusually wet summer but not as warm. I suppose they kind of offset each other. Less Sun to generate electricity but less use of AC. Either way, overall, I still have some credit on my bill. I have not paid any electric bills for 10 months. My power company doesn’t send me checks each month for the extra power generated but adds it as credit to the bill. They are also have an insensitive that pays the solar owners some $100/quarter just because (nice). That one will run out soon it seems. Overall, and assuming the same results, I should be able to pay for the system in 7-8 years. It includes the 30% tax break received on year 1 taxes. That concludes my advertising efforts for solar power. Some might add the effect of solar to help environmental impact but at this time I’m ok with my area getting another 5-10 degrees warmer during the winter 😜😜😜😜
Comments: رشتی, Malavan is doing well. I watched highlights of their last 2 games and they are a good team. I don’t recall a season as messed up as this one for a while. 3 teams were penalized anywhere between 1 to 3 points for financial reasons. Games were delayed for various reasons. Stadiums are in shitty shape. Trying to implement VAR that by now seems like a no brainer but… I’m always amazed that our football still produces some great players. We still qualify to WC. We still keep the top 3 ranking in Asia. Oh well…

Comments: The $14B donation bill to Israel that was passed in the House yesterday is actually a very smart move by the Republicans. They will pay for the bill by cutting the budget for IRS which means the IRS will have fewer people going after the very rich tax cheaters who are mostly Republicans(Hello Donald!). And at the same time stick it to the average American by eliminating the free electronic filing of the Federal taxes, it will now cost you at least $20 to file it. |
