دوستان به نظر من جواب این ابلهان را نباید داد.

Comments: The meaning of life is just to be alive. It is so plain and so obvious and so simple. And yet, everybody rushes around in a great panic as if it were necessary to achieve something beyond themselves.

Comments: The discussion of the past and how it affects or does not affect the future reminds me 25 years ago and my clubbing days.
Back in the late 90s the big hit of the club scene. e.g. house music, was a track called the "Future of the future" which was made by an Iranian duo out of DC calling themselves Deep Dish consisting of Ali "Dubfire" Shirazinia and Sharam Tayebi. I looked at them as the modern day Khayam!
This track became a worldwide hit and I reckon it was played every night in every single reputable club in the western world.
I suspect these 2 were engineering students and the lyrics was inspired by causal and non-causal systems subject which you can google and learn about.
The key verse is 'the future of the future still contain the past', now that's as Iranian as any lyrics you will ever hear in a dance club tune.....oh the good old days ![Big Grin - :D [biggrin]](https://cdn.websitetoolbox.com/images/boards/smilies/biggrin.gif)

The future of the future will still contain the past Where time goes slow and time goes fast I can feel you looking back at me to see how i've got on What is it eating at you that makes you want me now i'm gone
It's so bright tonight It's so bright tonight It's so bright tonight Do you see those cars, those light's?
The future of the future will still repeat today Where time goes fast then fades away You say "think of the old days, we could have them back again" Well i've thought about the old days and they'd go bad Like they did then
It's so bright tonight It's so bright tonight It's so bright tonight Do you see those cars, those light's?
The future of the future will still contain tonight The passage of day, the passage of light And i'm not going home again, tomorrow will never come And i'm not going home again, tomorrow will never come
But it's so bright tonight It's so bright tonight Do you see those cars, those light's? Do you see these roads, these sights?
What are you gonna do about me now? What are you gonna do about me now? It's so bright tonight

Comments: Interesting read Zinsky. I do not know how to resolve the conflict between that and the proposition that it is our past that shapes the future. I can definitely see situations where our projection of the past defines it. But more often I see that events in the past shaping what we do and our impression of them remains now the same as what it was before. There is a lot more evidence of this in biology than there is for the former.

Comments: I’ve been doing a lot of reading on Alan Watts. Very interesting stuff.
We must abandon completely the notion of blaming the past for any kind of situation we're in and reverse our thinking and see that the past always flows back from the present. That now is the creative point of life. So you see its like the idea of forgiving somebody, you change the meaning of the past by doing that...Also watch the flow of music. The melody as its expressed is changed by notes that come later. Just as the meaning of a sentence...you wait till later to find out what the sentence means...The present is always changing the past.

Comments: The USS Dwight D. Eisenhower aircraft carrier, sent to the Middle East last month to deter Iran and Hezbollah from opening a second front against Israel, was positioned this week in the heart of the Persian Gulf, just 100 kilometers (62 miles) off the Iranian coast.
The Eisenhower transited the Strait of Hormuz on Sunday and entered the Persian Gulf after setting sail from the United States last month and participating in a major exercise with the USS Gerald R. Ford carrier in the eastern Mediterranean.

Iran finalises deal to buy Russian fighter jets - TasnimReuters November 28, 20231:04 AM PSTUpdated a day ago A Russian Sukhoi Su-35S jet fighter performs a flight during the Aviadarts competition, as part of the International Army Games 2021, at the Dubrovichi range outside Ryazan, Russia August 27, 2021. REUTERS/Maxim Shemetov/File photo Acquire Licensing Rights DUBAI, Nov 28 (Reuters) - Iran has finalised arrangements for the delivery of Russian made Sukhoi su-35 fighter jets and helicopters, Iran's deputy defence minister told Iran's Tasnim news agency on Tuesday, as Tehran and Moscow forge closer military relations. Iran's air force has only a few dozen strike aircraft, including Russian jets as well as ageing U.S. models acquired before the 1979 Islamic Revolution. "Plans have been finalised for Sukhoi Su-35 fighter jets, Mil Mi-28 attack helicopters, and Yak-130 jet trainers to join the combat units of Iran's Army," Iran's deputy Defence Minister Mehdi Farahi said.
The Tasnim report did not include any Russian confirmation of the deal. In 2018, Iran said it had started production of the locally-designed Kowsar fighter for use in its air force. Military experts believe the jet is a carbon copy of the F-5, first produced in the United States in the 1960s.
