Comments: I am Faramarz khan. What I mean by that is not the substitutions. I do not know their players to say. But individual decisions like instead of passing dribbling into a crow of six opponent players, bad crosses when they should penetrate or pass, etc.
Comments: Maghsoud what do you mean by the wrong decisions? Bad substitutions? In the highlights they seem to be doing okay, but that is just the highlights.

Comments: Overall though I thought this was a lower quality game. Both of these teams are worse than Syria or Iraq.
Comments: Tajiks also had some unlucky bounce in this one too. I thought they did better up until about minute 40. And then from about minute 50 until they got scored on. Then they lost some steam, still attacked, but a lot less efficient, making all the wrong choices.
Comments: Agha Zinsky, I didn't think the first yellow on Taremi was a dive either. There was contact but the ref did not even go to VAR for it.

Comments: Both coaches complained about the fact that there are only 2 days between the round of 16 and quarterfinal. It’s worse for Iran as they played 4 hours later and played 120 minutes, but I suppose it’s all relative.
Comments: The yellow for Taremi for diving was 50/50 at best. There was contact. I would not call it a foul/penalty but easily could have caused him to fall. Very similar situation just happened with Jordan. No yellow for him and he kept arguing it should have been a penalty. This ref was nicer to him!!! Still 0-0 near HT

Comments: Actually Iran game is also the early one..., this sucks. Or maybe it is a blessing in disguise; I may not be able to handle it if we play anywhere near how we did against Syria. I am really concerned that without the Taremi, we lost the heart of the team. However, the emotions he was displaying at the end of Syria game could be a great influence on our team. Our team could come pout all fired up. And Japanese team is very young and not as mature; we could run all over them..., yes, I like this scenario much better
