Comments: For our game, I think we will have one goal in each half, unless we continue to play with two D-mids. Then we may go into PKs.
Comments: Wow, Shahryar are you extending your good-bad theory to Korea too? :) May be. It is also hard for me to predict actually both games. But I went with a single goal for Korea until minute 80 when Jordan breaks down and allows more goals.

Comments: I don't think the next game against Qatar will be a high-scoring one. I am predicting 1-0 for the good guys. Korea against Jordan is very unpredictable to me at this time. On paper, Korea should run over the, as Faramarz predicted a 3-0. I think Korea may come out flat. They may take this game on PKs however; I am thinking 1-1 with Korea winning it on PK.

Comments: Ok to make it more competitive and I won’t win it easily!!! Let’s add the score to predictions. For any correct goal count one can win 4 points in addition to the 4 points predicting the winner and 1 point extra for penalties. The goal counts will be for total goals before going to penalties, if that. So one can predict a score for a tie and pick a winner after penalties.

Comments: Rashti jAn, I have been watching the full 360 for a while now. It was recorded before the Japan game. There is a segment where they discuss the Korea game. It is kind of eerie to listen to that segment now because they discuss how Korea had so much confidence as if they knew they would get a PK in 94th minute. We did exactly the same thing!
Comments: Yes, these two teams, especially, are very predictable. Iran and Korea's opponents are much weaker. Betting against that is kind of crazy. |
