Comments: I agree with Shahryar's perspective. I think the technology is mature. It just has too many obvious levers for rigging.
Comments: Just a quick and simple comment about Qatar's 3rd goal against Iran. In my opinion when they did not even review it in VAR tells me there was a decision made behind close dorrs to make sure Qatar's goal stands, which is illegal. If Sardar's goal against UAE was offside, so was Qatar's goal against Iran. It is simple as that. I do not think VAR needs time to mature; it is pretty mature. Referees need more balls to not accept bribes from Arab Sheihks.
Comments: I do remember the 2018 VAR situations well. I think this was far worse. In 2018, VAR was very new and there wee many issues. Some of it was because they had not figured it out, some was because rules were not laid down fully, and then there was some issues that today are being abused and still have not been fixed. I remember the red on Ronaldo well and just did not happen even though VAR was in place. The process did not at all go the way it should have. This was a clear bias toward a legend. So, then there was a lot of mishap + some intentional stuff. Now things are very different and nearly every case is intentional. The early issues are gone. You look at Qatar's game, it will become very obvious. I do not recall a final with three PKs awarded to one team ever before or after VAR. Add to that the two red cards in the same game against the same team, it becomes a statistics of once ever! But VAR now makes something else obvious. Especially the absence of VAR in favor of one team screams. Iran game, Jordan game, both are great examples. Issues now in rigging VAR are now very obvious at least in Asia. You chose a referee who really wants the fame and the money. Chinese are great choices for this. They know themselves that they are not qualified. Now you put them in such an important game. What do you think he is going to do when VAR keeps telling him that he made the "wrong" call? He will simply obey to make sure he will get more of these gigs. Then you put an arab guy up there to make the calls. It is a team but one guy is enough to rig their minds. And if they do not agree (like the time they did not call for VAR for 10 minutes), in the end he has the authority to force it. On top of all this, the two technical issues that were listed, you have a full list of levers you can pull to rig things. Finally, when VAR was introduced, two countries objected, Italy, and Germany. I have to say that I disagreed with them then, but having seen how it has made the game more bias, I agree with every one of their initial points.

Comments: At my old age, I’ve been getting more and more interested in human mind. I’m in the 1st grade(maybe kindergarten) when it comes to understanding the concept but enjoying it nevertheless. It’s amazing how we develop these habits based on what we learn from very early age. They call it conditioned mind. Based on these conditioned minds, different people can look at the same thing or read the same article and have totally different thoughts and experiences. This is obviously very common in sports. VAR is put together to avoid the biased but even with that the mindset the same video can be seen by different fans and see completely different results. It is true in just about every aspect of life. The worst part are sports and politics. People can read or watch the same news and afterwards feel completely different. Important part is to understand each other and accept this concept. It doesn’t always have to end up in a fight. There are rarely any 100% right or wrong.

There should have been a red card on Ronaldo and the penalty for us was also not penalt. بقول مائو رهبر انقلاب چین, اینکه گربه تان رنگش سفید باشد یا سیاه اهمیتی ندارد. مهم انست که وضیفه اش که همانا شکار موش باشد را بخوبی انجام دهد. دسترسی به اسناد سری و امنیتی رژیم های خودکامه معمولا پس از سرنگونی رژیمهایشان امکان پذیر است و نه در طی حکومت منحوسشان. میبایست منتظر ماند تا از دل اسناد ساواما و اطلاعات سپاه دریافت که حقیقتا در طی چند ماه مانده به جام جهانی قطر و متعاقب ان طی ماه های باقی مانده به جام ملتها چه برسر تیم ملی فوتبال گذشت. طی ماه های گذشته شاهد تبلیغات گسترده ای توسط مخالفین و اپوزیسیون رژیم در جهت معرفی ملی پوشان بعنوان چهره هایی صرفا منفعت طلب, بدون وجدان و همبستگی ملی و تیم ملی را بعنوان ابزار رژیم و تیمی حکومتی بوده ایم. بسیاری از فعالان و مخالفین رژیم منتهی سعی شان را کردند تا چنان برداشتی را درمیان توده های مردم که ناظر چنان کشمکشهایی در صفحات مجازی بودند جای بیندازند و به تعبیری هم موفق بودند, از ان طرف رژیم هم با برنامه ریزی بسیار دقیق و با اعزام عواملش به قطر در طی یکماه گذشته قبول چنان برداشتی را به باوری تردید ناپذیر درمیان اذهان عمومی جای انداخت . جالب انجاست که بسیاری نااگاهانه مجری و منادی همان خواسته و سناریوی رژیم دربرچسب زدن تیم حکومتی بر تیم ملی فوتبال شدیم. در حیرتم که چطور میشود که رژیم و مخالفین سرسختش حد اقل در یک مورد و ان هم بر سر "حکومتی بودن تیم ملی فوتبال" با هم به توافق رسیدند!!! در کشوری با خصوصیات جمهوری اسلامی و نبود احزاب و گروههای فعال در داخل کشور، طرفداران فوتبال در طی همه ان سالهای پر درد و رنجی که بر ملت گذشت -به گواهی تاریخ- نشان دادندچه در استادیوم های ورزشی ویا اعتراظات خیابانی پس از مسابقات چطور جای خالی کادر ها و فعالین سیاسی غایب در صحنه تظاهرات خیابانی را ایفا نموده و بارها لرزه بر اندام رژیم انداخته اند. بیایید فرض کنیم که بچه های تیم ملی شکنجه گران اطلاعاتی و تیمشان هم بدون کوچک ترین شبه ایی تیمی یکدست حکومتی!!! از خود میپرسم، که ایا هدف زنده نگه داشتن و تداوم بخشیدن به تظاهرات اپوزیسیون و توده های مردم در خیابان _ بخصوص در ان دورانی که فطرتی در دنباله جنبش مهسا_ بوجودامده نبود؟ چه فرصتی بهتر از موقعیتی که جام جهانی قطر بدین منظور در دسترسمان قاراداه بود! چه بهره ای از انکه در طی ان بازیها "بیغرتشان" خواندیم بردیم؟ مهم فقط مسنمسکی بود تا با بهانه شکست و پیروزیبه خیابان بریزیم و در کنار هم شادی کنیم و شعارهایمان را بدهیم. غرض و بهانه اصلی استفاده از فرصت دست داده طی روزهای جام جهانی و این یکی دیگر درهمین قطر بود و بس. فوتبال و ان بردو باختش فقط میتوانست «بهانه ای» باشد برای سرازیر شدنمان در خیابان!!! جمهوری اسلامی تیم ملی فوتبال را به بنفع خودش "هایجاک" کرد و گروگان گرفت و به هدفی که در سر داشت رسید. ما برگ برنده امانرا دو دستی تقدیم حریفی مکار وحیله گر کردیم. یعنی جلوگیری از امدن مردم به بهانه شادی فوتبال در خیابان! یادمان رفت که مهم نیستکه ان اقا گربه سیاه میبود و یا سفید, تیم ملی حکومتی است و یا در کنار مردم. پیروزی و یا شکستش میتوانست بهترین دلیل سرریز شدمان به بهانه شادی و یا اعتراض در صحنه باشد و لا غیر! ان هم در این وانفسای قحطی الرجال و نبوداحزابی که راهنمایی باشند برای مردمی بستوه امده از دست حکومتی بغایت فاسد و خونریز. بقول هادی خرسندی: این گربه هه دشمن بسیار دارد در زمین!!! بعلاوه بسیار دوستان ناآگاه!
Comments: Serious question for all. Has it been so many questionable calls via VAR in any other tournament? The social media is full of people talking about AC this being rigged. I don’t think so myself but the VAR calls or no calls were made it look worse than it could be. Time for Super Bowl. Don’t have a favorite this year but hope for a good game.
