Nixon was right at least about one thing. Iran in hell means the region and the whole world in terror and hell. Only war mongers like Netenyaboo would benefit from this.
The one important thing that I do not think they predicted is that united states and its policy makes also became war mongers. And they became the head war mongers, encouraging people like yaboo. It was america itself that destabilized iran, the region, and the world.

Thank you guys for all the advice. I have contacted the airline. Austrian. They say the ticket is fine as is. But I doubt them very much. The support center is in India and between the language barriers and the constantly disconnecting calls, there is no trust left.
I worry that I will run into issues at the airport.

Agha Zinsky khosh begzare. On my recent trip, my experience with a cell phone was the same as Zinsky describes. I have a phone in Iran which I registered the last trip I was there and used it. But left it in Iran for future use. At the airport no one asked for my cell phone.
Well said about "come here and see if you can help." No one there gives a shit about the outside or the fights there.

On the subject of infighting between different groups, I see much less of that here. Iranians aboard have bad attitude towards each other. All this fighting between this group and the other one is even more silly now that I’m here. People have other serious issues to deal with. No one, and I mean no one gives a rats ass about what we think in US or other countries around the world. We are sitting thousands of miles away fighting amongst ourselves about what is the best system for Iran. Talk is cheap. Come over here, see the pain and do your best to help. Otherwise, just live your American life and enjoy.
