If the intent was regime change, there would not be so much talk about it. I wonder if Kushner in his negotiations, he mentioned anything for the people of Iran. Or was it all security of Israel, aka nukes, missiles, etc? Did people and thousands who died serve as leverage for Israel. Really sad things to consider.

Comments: After months of back and forth, it seems Trump has put himself in an awkward situation. At this stage, anything other than regime change is a failure. He realizes that no amount of bombing is enough to get rid of the regime. Boots on the ground will be painful at best. Not doing anything is also not possible for a narcissist who believes he can fix anything he wants. Sending US’s largest ship to Persian Gulf and spending billions without any tangible outcome is not acceptable to him or US. Going to all out war is also not what his supporters want. If IRI survives this again, they will declare victory and it will be hard to argue with them. They starred at the strongest military in the history and didn’t blink! In the meantime, Iranians have to endure more pain and suffering. Great outcome for IRI! FUCK THIS!
