Comments: Totally agree Shahryar. The Final adjective is often ignored. But now it seems to be the critical point. This does not feel like the World Cup Finals!! The other point that I want to make is that by expanding this tournament FIFA is risking fan exhaustion. 107 games in a month is crazy. I know they did this to make more money. But in this way, many games will be hugely under attended both in the stadium and at home.
Comments: These Euro teams are tired and will run out of gas late in the game. Iran's game against Belgium is also at 12PM in Socal and it's gonna be in the 90s on the pitch. Comments: Faramarz, Well said, I agree with you. There are more teams like Haiti & Curacao that still have to play... This is so ridiculous. This is supposed to be the World Cup FINALS, meaning only the best teams can attend..., what a joke.
Comments: I have to say that this does not feel at all like the usual WC we are used to. The games are no longer special between highly scrutinized teams. There are far too many mediocre teams and so, these games feel like any old game you see on a regular basis. If you do not agree with me, watch Canada - Bosnia. Neither of these teams should be in this tournament.
Comments: Switzerland blew it, they should have put the game away when they had the chance. And LOL is correct, the PK was offside, and the referee messed it up. Another FIFA fiasco this year. Very few points given to our contestants for this game.
Comments: Swiss ran out of gas as expected in the last 15 minutes. I knew QAT will score. And to be honest their penalty was offside and FIFA tv never showed the evidence as they always do. So far Asian teams are undfeated
