For the Swifties among my friends here :)

News broke on Monday that Taylor Swift had shattered a new record when 14 songs from her recent behemoth of a release, The Tortured Poets Department, took the top 14 spots on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. With so much to listen to—the album’s 16 main tracks were accompanied by 15 surprise bonus tracks—the Swifties clearly got to work streaming nonstop, and all 31 tracks made the Hot 100. Now, with Tuesday’s release of the full chart data, we can do our own obsessive deep dive to assess which Tortured Poets songs fans have on repeat and which tracks are skips—and whether this reveals anything deeper, like, which parts of Swift’s love life and mythology are proving the most irresistible.

What is happening on college campuses is a horrible destruction of the American image as a democracy and superpower. It shows that there is no free speech, it shows that there is no legitimate superpower, inside, it is just an organized gang of economic mafia that tries to stay atop through destruction, suffocation of people's will, and plain old corruption.

In America, divestment demand from Israel seems to be a no-no!
Kids are being beaten up and arrested for demanding it. Imagine what would happen to them if they demanded change of government/system.
America has been the bitch of Israel for a long time and it’s getting worse. Americans are being bullied for speaking their minds.
We look at the system like IRI and expect them to be any better when their actual lives are in danger if the system claps! What would happen to America and its leaders if universities divest from Israel?

The divestment demand is totally legitimate and has many precedents as reported in this article from S. Africa, Sudan, Tobacco, Fossil Fuels.

Jomhoreah masihie America!!!
Hundreds of demonstrators have been arrested at university campuses across the US over the past 24 hours.
In New York, about 300 protesters were arrested overnight at Columbia University and City College of New York, officials said Wednesday, and at least a dozen people were arrested at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as law enforcement moved in to disassemble an encampment.
In Los Angeles, 15 people were injured and one hospitalized at UCLA after a night marred by violence between pro-Palestinian protesters and Israel supporters, the University of California system's president said. UCLA canceled classes Wednesday and the school said police are stationed on campus to "help promote safety.”
While the demands among protesters vary at each university, the majority of demonstrations have called for the divestment from companies that support Israel and the war in Gaza.

If you are an American or a nturalized citizen it's time to get tottally goozpeech
I never thought I would see this done to US kids who are exercising their first amendmend rights. At UCLA the police watched as  a bunch of non-student thugs attacked the encampment of the anti-war proptestors and beat them up and throw fire bombs and pepper spary at them! This is not China, Iran or Russia, its the USA!

Samsung Next will shut down its operations in Israel and shift its activities abroad, as the Israeli economy suffers a downturn due to the ongoing war on Gaza.
The firm, which is the innovation branch of Korean company Samsung, announced to staff it was closing its operations in Tel Aviv, a regional tech hub.
An email to office employees said: "[T]his decision, although difficult, does not diminish the achievements we have accomplished together for almost a decade", including investing in 70 companies and Israeli startups, according to Israeli tech publication CTech.
The US office, which will be taking over regional clients and investments in a process the company expects to occur by autumn, would provide resources and advice to the team, the email added.
It comes after a flurry of difficulties for the Israeli economy since the 7 October attacks and war on Gaza, including in the tech sector.
The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement , which calls for an embargo on Israel due to rights concerns, said the move was "yet another strong indicator of the dramatically declining confidence in the Israeli economy".
Prior to Israel's war on Gaza, the IMF warned that controversial judicial reforms, which members of the Israeli tech sector protested, could negatively affect the country's economic growth.
