Comments: Zinsky, Hamvatan, most of my friend believe that our generation got hosed and is being squeezed between the two generations before and after. But I do agree with you guys. I am not sure this is true. We do not know all the difficult details of the previous generation and cannot know the details of the next generation. So, it is easy to think that we are the hosed generation because we know all of our details. I am not sure.

Comments: One of the more chilling warnings is the list of failing gas stations that Iran has released. If the war continues, they say, at the top of their list of gas stations to make disappear is Q8. Second in the list is UAE. Q8 is already half way there with its power generation and desalination plants hit. Q8 already has started rationing electricity with brownouts and blackouts. Also, one of the biggest points of concern for the USA is that Iran waited on its Jordan attack until the fighter jets return to base. As soon as an F-35 returned inside its hanger, the hanger and with it the F35 was hit. The reason this is a huge point of concern is that it indicates that Iran has real-time satellite imagery for targeting. This changes the equation quite a lot as the fighter jets will enter the attrition equation as well.
Comments: Iran has been able to systematically empty American bases in the Persian Gulf. Most of the aircraft and personnel have been transferred to Jordan which is why Iran is targeting Jordan in the past 2 weeks. Their only option in the region is to move the troops and equipment to Israel but I doubt they will allow that to happen knowing the consequences. This is why the US used B-1 bombers based in Fairford base in the UK to attack some targets in Iran a couple of days ago. Yesterday Iran warned the UK not to fall in the US trap. I used to believe mine was complicated and hard but now I realize that each generation has to go through their own journey. Ours was the revolution and the war with Iraq and living as an immigrants. Our kids are dealing with the consequences of new world order. Our parents went through their own journey WWII and the revolution and the war. I’m not sure if one is easier than the other.

Comments: Zinsky jan, Sorry for the late reply as I was away. Our dads may have known each other. It is interesting how because of the times how they sacrificed their path to future for providing for family. My dad was orphaned at 3 years old in a large extended family (a couple of Aunts had passed away and their kids were no the grandmother's responsibility) that had lost the provider in my grandfather). He was a merchant with extended credits to others that were never paid bankrupting the family. To provide my 2 older uncles and my dad were working from very early age. My dad joined service at 12 years old. He always dreamt of being an engineer and being hands-on with technology. This was a compromise for him. We owe a lot to their generation. They sacrificed, worked hard and provided for the country and those around them without asking for much. We have been lucky to have them. I think everybody on this page can relate to that.
