Comments: Agha Zinsky, there are calculators to take inflation into account. Here is one: https://www.in2013dollars.com/us/inflation/1974?amount=571. I assumed $ was 7 tomans back then which then makes 4000 tomans $571. Then you can enter that into this calculator. I assumed that the year to be 1974 since the add mentioned the 707 plane. But I think $ was less than 7 tomans in 74. Also, this may be before '74. So, this could easily be more than $5K in today's $$$.

The biggest difference between this Board and other so-called Football boards is that the people here are all gentlemen ans scholars. They are professional and thoughtful. This is why, even if I do not have time to post, I still read as many posts as I can. I will post again soon, since this is the classiest board for exchange of information and thoughts.

Comments: I am definitely not surprised that Trump can still run! The more bribe (lobby)-ready you are the more qualified you are. Trump is the most bribe-ready president in the whole world. So, now that the shit show that was called the Trump trial is over, water will not move from water and Trump will continue toward his presidency as before. Justice is not just the trial, it is bringing the guilty to justice. It is not putting people on trial, find them guilty, and then make them the president to run everything! Enough said that in this country it is a bigger disqualifier if you are young than if you are a criminal. A 30 year-old cannot run for presidency but a 34-time felon can. Go figure democracy.
