Comments: People keep asking why China and Russia don’t get involved in this war to help Iran. Reality is that this war is great for both countries. They don’t care for Iran but this war is the best thing for China and Russia. The longer it lasts the better for them and worse for US.

Comments: I’m still puzzled why Trump doesn’t like RP! RP seems to be willing to do anything to get the power. The U.S. president told reporters that ‘someone from within’ Iranian regime might be best choice to take power once the U.S.-Israel military campaign is completed. In an exchange in the Oval Office Tuesday, Trump said Reza Pahlavi, the exiled crown prince of Iran’s last shah, is not someone that his administration has considered in depth to take over leadership in Iran. “He looks like a very nice person, but it would seem to me that somebody that’s there that’s currently popular, if there’s such a person ... we have people like that,” Trump said. Trump noted that “some people like” Pahlavi but that he was not someone the administration had thought about too much as Iran’s next ruler.

Comments: With the increased trafic, and being under influence of , essentially, tranqualizers, and bloated like a baloon (they pumped some CO2 into me ), I missed your message zinsky jAn. This was an old soccer injury that I have been nursing for over 20 years. I have increased working out (4 times a week) and lost some weight. The result was improved BP and a lot of other things, but made the injury more notable. I noticed that I needed two areas of repair and in pre-op they discovered a third. So, am glad that I took care of it now. Hoping to get back to my routine soon. But the getting old and brain not recognizing it is well taken and very valid. I have too many soccer injuries (just two surgeries in recent years) that provide proof of this. Old habits are hard to break.
Comments: Reza, I do not trust a word of what he says because he changes his mind so much and his control is not with him but Israel. But if he actually goes through with this plan, it would be an externally enforced piAz strategy of Maghsoud once told me. It would be the best outcome immediately available for the people of the country. I just do not see a possibility for IRI entirely to be dismantled and gone, with Pahlavi taking over, and Iran not losing territory to all the vultures out there.

Comments: The Islamic Republic of Iran’s first priority is to survive. To do that, its leaders will want to drive up the cost of the war for President Trump — in terms of American casualties, energy costs and inflation — to try to persuade him to declare victory and go home. Faced with the overwhelming firepower of the United States and Israel, diplomats and analysts say, Iran is working to enlarge the battlefield from its own territory to the broader region. The goals are to damage oil and gas infrastructure in neighboring countries, shut the Strait of Hormuz to shipping and curtail air traffic — all to disrupt the economies of the Persian Gulf and drive up global energy prices and inflation. Iran will also be trying to exhaust the number of expensive missile interceptors held by its enemies. “The war has become a test of wills and stamina,” said Vali Nasr of the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies in Washington. “Iran is facing qualitatively superior militaries, so the strategy is to test their will by expanding the battlefield, complicating the war and increasing the danger to the world economy.” The strategy is not complicated. Ali Vaez, the Iran director of the Brussels-based think tank International Crisis Group, said, “The Iranians want to spread the pain as much as they can, regardless of the cost to themselves and burned relations with their neighbors, hoping to create enough opposition to the war to compel President Trump to back off.”
Comments: Zinsky that was also my worry. This is a prelude to Tajziyeh. All those shahollAhies who are encouraging this are a tool toward splitting Iran-exactly what Israel wanted.
Comments: "President Donald Trump said in an interview Tuesday that Iran was running out of crucial armaments and that he’d be open to working with some surviving members of the country’s ruling regime." Knowing Trump, this means the US is running out of the ammunition. They are burning through a year's worth of production in a week. But hey an opening is an opening. This may be preplanned. We'll see.

Comments: What I was worried about. The CIA is working to arm Kurdish forces with the aim of fomenting a popular uprising in Iran, multiple people familiar with the plan told CNN. The Trump administration has been in active discussions with Iranian opposition groups and Kurdish leaders in Iraq about providing them with military support, the sources said. Iranian Kurdish armed groups have thousands of forces operating along the Iraq-Iran border, primarily in Iraq’s Kurdistan region. Several of the groups have released public statements since the beginning of the war hinting at imminent action and urging Iranian military forces to defect. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has been striking Kurdish groups and said on Tuesday that it targeted Kurdish forces with dozens of drones. Also on Tuesday, US President Donald Trump spoke with the president of the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan (KDPI), Mustafa Hijri, according to a senior Iranian Kurdish official. KDPI was one of the groups targeted by the IRGC. Iranian Kurdish opposition forces are expected to take part in a ground operation in Western Iran, in the coming days, the senior Iranian Kurdish official told CNN. “We believe we have a big chance now,” the source said, explaining the timing of the operation. The source added the militias expects US and Israeli support.

Lebanon: At least 52 people were killed and 154 were wounded in Israeli strikes across Lebanon on Monday, the Lebanese government said. Israel: At least 10 people have been killed and more than 200 injured in Israel since it attacked Iran, according to Israel’s emergency services Magen David Adom. Iraq: At least four Popular Mobilization Force soldiers were killed in a US-Israeli airstrike on Diyala, Iraq, the militia’s media directorate said Sunday. Kuwait: At least nine people have been killed in Kuwait since Saturday, including six US service members, according to CENTCOM, and two Kuwaiti service members, the country’s army said on Tuesday.
