Comments: Shahryar jAn, I thought one of CQ's great strengths was his recruitment. He went outside and found good players for us. Then without any corruption, he picked the best choices internally around those important pieces. This takes time, especially recruitment from outside. The last time they hired him, it was two months before the games.  So, they took away his ability to scout and recruit fresh blood. Without that fresh blood even Sardar is not going to be so effective. It will be Taremi by himself. Definitely, this team is not going past the first round.

Comments: Faramarz Jan, You raised a very important point regarding the coach's character. The current coach does not bring the enthusiasm and "fire" needed for the position to motivate our players. As you said, the players also do not respect him at all. they will do and follow as he says, but only to the limit to be compliant and keep their jobs. There is no way our TM can go beyond the first round in the next WC, even with the new "watered down" version of WC with 48 teams. The sooner we get a new coach, a REAL coach, the better our chances are of advancement. We will have the likes of Taremi and Azmoon in one more WC, and after that., we are in rebuilding phase again. So, we should take full advantage of it. |
