Their come back was: Why don't you compare Gross national product between the two countries? This is a shocking argument to me. It is true that our GNP was higher, especially the nominal GDP per capita was about 30% higher. But this makes it worse. Where did all that money go? why did we have so many illiterate and such poor regions when our national income was so high, living in the golden age!? In the end, I believe it was the bisavAdi of the population that did shAh in when it was contrasted with all his casting the images of a second Japan for Iran.

Comments: Zinsky, Everything you just said about Israel and US was spot on! The bottom line is that Trump is finding himself in a very unfamiliar situation. He has always surrounded himself with "YES Men", because he cannot hear any criticisms. But because of his monumental;l mistake of attacking Iran (listening to Bibi), he finds that a;ll the Yes-Men are either against him or are hiding out. This could indeed be a turning point in US-Israel relationship, if Trump had any backbone. But since he does not, he will have to capitulate to Israel and AIPAC sooner or later. The deal with Iran will be watered down or nullified, and things will just be as they were, slowly.

Comments: I can’t tell if all this back and forth between US and Israel is for real or just a game. If it’s real, it could determine the future of their unconditional love (well one way love)! Israel doesn’t care for anyone, just as long as they get what they want. If Trump/US actually stops helping Israel, it could change the whole Middle East.
