Comments: Thirteen states gained or lost electoral votes following the 2020 Census: Texas gained two votes. Colorado, Florida, Montana, North Carolina, and Oregon each gained one. California, Illinois, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia each lost one.
Comments: After the census of two years ago, TX and Florida gained delegates and CA lost some. TX has been republican for years. Florida moved that direction few years back. More people are moving to TX and Florida than any other state. Depending on the type of people moving, they could become battle ground states in the next few elections.

Comments: "It is more of a shopping center." What I meant to say is that "it is more than just a shopping center!!!"
Comments: Faramarz, Iran mall is a nice place and not only as a mall. It is more of a shopping center. On a different note, the top and bottom States as far as education. 1st Place – MassachusettsIs it any wonder that the crown for America’s most educated state is perched atop the head of Massachusetts? It’s the intellectual powerhouse where the world-renowned Harvard University and MIT reside – the twin titans of academia. These esteemed institutions are not just the pride of the state, but they are the shining beacons of knowledge that illuminate the entire globe. 2nd Place – Maryland3rd Place – Colorado49th Place – West Virginia50th Place – Mississippi
Comments: The first thought that came to my mind was: What an amazing place. But will the merchants go bankrupt in a few years? The place needs massive clientele that actually shops rather than just visits. How frequently will people buy things there? There was a Persian rug in display with a price tag of $6M! And that was only a 9 meter rug. The center piece was over 600 square meters!!
Also visit the mirror hall. Amazing place!
Comments: By the way, Maghsoud, when you are here, I definitely recommend you visiting the Iran Mall. It is probably one of the largest malls in the world in terms of the footprint. It may be the largest. But what is impressive about this Mall is the class with which it was designed and built. Definitely visit the JondishApour Library there and the garden (I forget the name of it-may be Eden). Such as enormous space and well designed. The traditional persian sector is amazing. The dude, Ansari (I think) clearly is in a class of its own when it comes to building malls. I heard that because he was not part of the establishment they started giving him a hard time but was finally accepted.
Comments: Clearly the french went overboard with the opening ceremony and now they are feeling the heat. Unfortunately because of the religious right rising, the left also is toughening its rhetoric and stance. The common thing to do here is to entirely dismiss religion, god, and everything that comes along with it. It is almost like a fashion these days for the not religious. You can do this as a person and the worst is that you will irritate the people you are arguing with. But when you put something at the opening ceremony of a global event like the Olympics that could easily be misunderstood by millions, at a minimum those millions will feel that there is no respect for what they deeply believe. Intent here is irrelevant. Perception is everything. The left side of the french society/government is learning this the hard way. Religion may be stupid or insane to some but those some need to realize that it is real enough for those who believe in it to die for it. It is that serious. It should not be made fun of. I personally, not being christian, did not think anything of it other than thinking that a naked fat dude on a supper table was pretty tasteless for the opening ceremony of the Olympics!
Comments: Maghsoud jAn, there is not a lot of time between now and September. SefArat is slammed with a lot of work. Nothing gets done under a month. Getting a new kArte Meli takes 3 years even here. But they give you a receipt you can use in the interim. Here, if everything goes as expected, you get the receipt in a day and the new card will be active a week after that. But it will waste at least two days of your trip. You will get the physical card in three years, but that is not needed now. The receipt and the activation of the virtual card will work. Depending on how much you have to do after you have your card active, two weeks may not be enough. Usually it isn't because you also want to do some relative site seeing, I am sure. Right now it is especially tough because banks and government offices close at 10am almost every day now. This really sucks.
