Comments: Salam Doostane Aziz, In regards to the Iran-France game, I agree that France did not play to win and was at best going for a draw. Agha Rashti was the first one to call it. In Iran's first goal, French goalie stepped aside and did not stop the shot (great call, Rashti). In my opinion, France should be banned from this tournament, and the next 3rd place team (Panama?) should replace them.
Comments: Here is Iran's side of the story from the coach and the media guy for TM. They confirm the fact that in the 2nd half they issued the fire order. They have also made a complaint to AFC and FIFA about THA coach's rant on social media. I think they are 100% correct. First of all no team was going to be eliminated due to the outcome of the game. It's not like THA was eliminated because they tied or whatever. The outcome of the game had no effect on any other team in the competition and frankly THA will lose to either Iran or France.
