Comments: Iran's new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has said the closure of the Strait of Hormuz maritime passage should be continued as a "tool to pressure the enemy," in his first public statement since being appointed. Khamenei also said all U.S. military bases in the Middle East should close immediately and "those bases will be attacked," in televised comments translated by Reuters.

Everyone carries the blame: rpg, iri, orange stain, and most of all yaboo. europe (except for spain) for staying quiet and playing along even now that they are threatened by the stain. bunch of self serving kharkosde bastards. none of them care that people r dying. they r all accomplices in yaboo kharkosde's greater genocide project. 
Comments: Faramarz, I’m not sure if he is alive or not! The message from him was not directly from him. It was a written statement. Either way, it is not as important as what is happening on the ground. Talking to people back home gives me the impression that they are being harassed on the street even if they are just trying to get groceries or going to work. Check points everywhere and the slightest hint of resistance could make them a target. One said that his friend was beaten for laughing! I assume this will get worse if they (IRI) survive which seems more likely than ever. People are realizing that this could lead to more pain and suffering and all the work by youn people, specially women and girls, could be reversed. A heavily wounded regime, if survive, could be really bad for society as a whole. They also report heavy losses and destructions everywhere in Tehran. On this side of the ocean it seems that the cost of the oil and war by itself is causing more damage than expected. I believe US will declare victory and stop the war for the time being. I’m afraid all this caused more pain than any gain people were hoping for.

Comments: Zinsky jAn, good to see you around. I think you are describing everyone's condition. I can't say I am much different from you. Today, they read a message from Mojtaba on NPR. It said something to the effect of they will not close the straight but will continue attacking the neighboring countries. I may have misheard and so, need to check. So, he may be alive.But to be honest, I do not think it matters because I think Larijani is effectively running the show and have a feeling that was even before Khamanei was killed. He was the main decision maker.

Comments: I’ve tried to keep away as much as possible from social media and news. It’s just crazy depressing. I failed!!! Death and destruction is pulling up. No end in sight. I don’t see much hope for Iranians. This new leader seems to be worse than his father, if he is actually alive. His mother, father, wife and kid were killed in this war. I can’t imagine if he is going to be “nice” to anyone, specially the people back home if they want anything other than this regime. All this nonsense for what?

Hope you enjoy it روز چندم جنگ است؟ چندشنبه است؟ نمیدانم. همهچیز را گم کردهام، و تهران سه ماه قبل را هم اصلا به یاد ندارم. آیا واقعا چند روز دیگر "عید" است؟ امروز ریه ام بهتر بود و راه افتادم در شهر. رفتم کتاب خریدم و برای جوانهای شهر کتاب فرشته غصه خوردم که چرا وسط شهر آمدهاند سر کار. پیاده تا تجریش رفتم و پیاده برگشتم و تهران خلوت را نگاه کردم. عابر کم است و زبالهگرد زیاد. زیبابی کم است و فقر و زشتی زوزه میکشند. گربهها و پرندهها گرسنه نمیمانند و مردم مرتب برایشان گندم و غذا میآورند. مثل من که روزی یک بار برای کلاغهای خیابان شاهنظری بربری میبرم. ما آنقدرها هم مردم بدی نیستیم. حس میکنم تمام شدهام. دیدن تهران زشت محبوبم در وضعیت جنگی از همیشه پیرترم کرده. دلم برای گوسان و کارگاه و شرکت و کوه دستهجمعی و هر شمایلی از زندگی تنگ شده. یک ماه پیش داشتیم با فربد دربارهی چهارشنبهسوری و جمع شدن در کوه حرف میزدیم. حالا به کل آدم دیگری شدهام که یاد گرفته از صدای انفجارها محلشان را تقریبا درست حدس بزند. کمتر از قبل گریه میکنم و تقریبا اصلا نمیخندم، مگر وقتی بخواهم مادرم را فریب بدهم. آیا مردهام و فقط چون هنوز راه میروم کسی نفهمیده؟ بله، من مخالف جنگ و عاشق ایرانم. بله، از همهی مسببان جنگ بیزارم. بله، هنوز هم کاملا مطمئنم جنگ آزادی نمیآورد (هر چقدر هم که بهزاد قشنگ توجیهش کند) و بله، هنوز هم ایمان دارم زندگی نهایتا به همهچیز غلبه میکند. امروز توانستم یک دوست جدید پیدا کنم: پنبه. سگ پشمالوی بزرگ خجالتی که تازه به این محل آمده. قرار شد عصرها که میآید قدم بزند ببینمش. این قرار را با چشمهایمان گذاشتیم. یک دوست جدید، چند کتاب جدید، و زندهماندن در انفجارهای ساعت یک و نیم. روز فعلا بد نبوده. شاید در ادامه بهتر شد، شاید بدتر. ولی فعلا میخواهم زنده بمانم. یا لااقل وانمود کنم زنده ماندهام. دوستت دارم تهران، و اگر دیگر کسی دربارهات نتوشت، مطمئن باش که من مردهام. همین. @hamid59salimi

Comments: Here’s my prediction iran will be left in ruins, the fucking towel heads will continue to rule but this time with far more purpose. First n foremost they will try and I believe will acquire nuclear weapon(s), but this time super quietly. Iranian people will have to carry the burden of paying for rebuilding Iran which is no small feat. The diaspora here will never go back or lend a hand to most deserving sector of population in Iran.
