It also must "completely compensate" Iran for war damage, lift sanctions and "unconditionally" release frozen assets. In other words Iran demanding an "unconditional surrender" from the US.

Lille finished 3rd in the league last year and will be in Champion's League so Taremi is very interested in the move. Comments: Are you ready for some football? The new PGL season starts next Friday Aug. 14. Since last season was unfinished no teams were supposed to be relegated and 2 teams from the Azadegan league were promoted to PGL and the new season will take place with 18 teams. These teams are Nassaji and a new team, Mes Shahr Babak, which is another team with backing of the copper industry in Kerman province. But later IRIFF announced that the last team in PGL, Mes Rafsanjan, will do a playoff with the 3rd place team from Azadegan League, Sanat Naft Abadan to determine the last team in PGL. MRF did not like this decision and refused to do the playoff and SNA was promoted to PGL by default. So the new season will start with 18 teams this year

I agree 100% that one of the main reasons Trump is stepping back is the upcoming mid-terms and his fear of losing control over both houses that would lead to his 3rd impeachment. Other reasons of course exist, including running out of both defensive & offensive weapons that can not be replenished for years. Other reason is the remaining US Generals want to exit from this quagmire. His ego is so strong and deep that he cannot take this humiliation in stride and he will lash back somehow. At the moment, he is claiming that he has won already and is declaring victory, and his defense secretary agrees and is bolstering this as the most significant victory for US military in the history (LOL). Of course ANY WIN by US military will be considered historic, since they have not won since the World War II.

Comments: Looks like the Supreme National Security Counsel issued a statement to basically restate the MOU language. But it sounds now that the language is a lot tougher. The statement includes the full departure of United States from the region.
Comments: Zinsky, I do remember those days of "AmrikA setizi". :) They labeled everyone that way who questioned anything that the US had done. They considered that "treason" and called people traitors as a result. Now their commander in chief is withdrawing all defensive systems from all US bases in the region for the sole protection of another country, leaving US' own troops and bases unprotected. Most members of the congress have also come out to state that their priority is that other country rather than the United States. So, I wondering how they feel about all this. My guess is that because they are people with no conscience or ethics, they still maintain the same old position.

Comments: Reza, also, this is a load of crap: "The researchers excluded human pathogen data, so these particular viruses cannot infect people." All the viruses that infect humans evolved from viruses that infected nonhumans. Once these are released into nature, I give it a year or two. There will undoubtedly also be ecological effects. If we assume that life emerged in random combination of amino acids, one reaches the conclusion that these viruses that do not exist in nature was tried and eliminated by nature. This could be for at least one or more of the following reasons: 1. They did emerge but natural selection took them out. I.e. lost the competition to the ones that we see today. 2. Did not have the host that they were best fit for and so, they did not survive. In the case of the first possibility, those who are creating these things will run into the same issue which then will lead them to prompt AI to make these viruses that are more fit (replicate faster, survive longer without a host, transmit easier etc.). If they do this, we are then looking at a superbug that can crush humanity like a bug in its own merit. If the second possibility is true, then the chances are that they will find a host in today's ecosystem, i.e. humans which did not exist when these viruses were first being created. So, then they will infect humans and other species in today's ecosystem and create a havoc for a lot of other species, may be even driving some of them extinct, ranging from viruses, to bacteria, and may be ever more complex species like mammalians. The point is that there is no telling what the consequences will be. This is not a risk that humans should take with the planet.

Comments: Stanford scientists trained an OpenAI model on millions of DNA sequences. It invented 16 new viruses that have never existed in nature. All 16 successfully replicated inside living cells. The researchers excluded human pathogen data, so these particular viruses cannot infect people. But the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security published a warning the same day. Their exact concern: someone could now type “make me an influenza genome that is more transmissible and more lethal” and get a working answer. Comments: Right now, all indicators are pointing out to complete Iran's victory and future supremacy in the region. Iran will certainly be the regional superpower, directly challenging Israel in his unfulfilled wishes to be the leader in the region. And this is what worries me the most. Knowing how cruel and ruthless Israel and US are, i do not think they will allow this, which will basically amount to complete humiliation of the two countries (not to mention the West and the GCC countries). I am afraid they will resort to some other methods that no one has thought of yet, to erase this monumental victory for Iran, and I include the nuclear path in among these other methods. |
