Comments: Red card and the penalty that was reversed by VAR! در شرایطی که دو تیم به برخی صحنه های رخ داده در محوطه جریمه اعتراض و اعتقاد داشتند که داور استرالیایی باید برای آنها پنالتی بگیرد، بالاخره در دقیقه ۹۰ در یک رفت و برگشت و زمانی که علی قلی زاده قصد داشت توپ را به سمت دروازه ببرد، توپ به دست آشور ماتوف برخورد کرد و داور اعلام ضربه پنالتی کرد. با این که داور استرالیایی ابتدا اعلام ضربه پنالتی کرده بود اما پس از لحظاتی که بازیکنان ازبکستان اعتراض کردند برای بازبینی صحنه به کنار زمین رفت و تصاویر را چندین بار مرور کرد و در نهایت پنالتی را رد کرد تا بهترین فرصت ایران برای رسیدن به گل از دست برود
