Comments: Well the Uzbeks did not play to win and were going for a one point from the get go. Iran was hoping they come out more and hit them on quick counters. That's why the first half was boring and uneventful, I don't think there was any shots on goal in the period. Second half was going the same way until Iran got a red card. As I said last time he is becoming more and more like CQ with his clean sheets and minimal wins, maybe CQ is secretly advising him! Next up QAT on Tuesday in Dubai. It's a revenge game for Iran but they will miss Hardani and Ghoddos. GN has to come up with a whole new line up now but he has shown he can handle the task at least at the Asian level.
