I read somewhere that shah was encouraged to believe he can outlast US Presidents n therefore is immune. What he didn’t grasp is the real leaders of US are always behind the scenes, eg Morgans Rockefellers and Carnegies. Neoconservatives saw him as a liability for his lack of respect for them n the Dems hated him for his overly heavy handed treatment of his subjects
n the jewish state saw him as a threat with his anti jewish stuff

It is scary when a country like US and its leaders are so shitless and afraid of saying anything negative about this war. Harris or Biden didn’t have to call the war genocide but they could have helped themselves by acknowledging the pain and suffering and give Israel some sort of warning to stop the war. That could have helped them but…

Yes, Gaza is hurting democrats. The fact that idiot Biden came out and said he was a zionist and that Harris did not offer a plan to deal with, or at least recognize the genocide, is all hurting her in places like Michigan. I do not think they can count on arabs to vote for her there and if this one is like the last one Michigan is going to be close enough for the arabs to make a difference. Election is Tuesday but it could drag on if Trump loses. In my circle, majority are against Trump but not everyone is for Harris either. I think the Gaza situation is hurting her badly. I don’t think she can win. She might still win the majority but not enough states to win the election.
Either way, I don’t have a good feeling about the day after.

I stopped looking at the polls but odd makers give republicans to win the Whitehouse, senate and house 54% changes.with Supreme Court already controlled by them, we are entering a new era in American politics. Every branch of government is going to be super conservative. I want to say we are fucked but that might not be harsh enough word for it.
