Comments: سخنگوی سپاه: مگر ترامپ نمیگوید نیروی دریایی ایران را نابود کرده؟ پس اگر جرئت دارد ناوهایش را وارد منطقهٔ خلیجفارس کند.
Comments: What I hate is all this talk about who is winning the war. There is no winning without casualties and destruction. At of now, Iranians are suffering the most with the rest feel the pain but not in the same way. The longer this goes on, the larger the suffering for all sides. All this talk about who hit what and who is winning is just that. Human cost is going to increase dramatically. Unfortunately, we have narcissistic politicians in charge in all sides. None will accept defeat no matter how many people die or how badly the world suffers.
Comments: Trump's position on the war: 1. After the first couple of days "unconditional surrender" 2. After the first week "please open the Hormuz" 3. After the 2nd week "can someone help us open the Hormuz"
Comments: The big problem is that I do not think IRI will allow Trump to find an off ramp this time. It is not in their interest for this war to end by a simple declaration by Trump like the 12 day war. It is also not in Russia's interest for this war to end any time soon. This has been great for Russia. So, without some huge and meaningful concessions, I doubt that IRI will accept a cease fire. They probably will want lifting of the sanctions and some sort of guarantee that this will not happen again in say six months. They might even want US withdrawal from the Persian Gulf states and leaving the security of the Straight of Hormuz to them. These are high bars but without it, I do not see an end to this war even past the point of IRI running out of their missiles and drones. All signs are that the US/Israeli side are actually running out of their defensive capabilities faster and so, IRI will have to use less of their missiles and drones in the coming weeks to inflict pain.
Comments: Ali Larijani | علی لاریجانی @alilarijani_ir I’ve heard that the remaining members of Epstein’s network have devised a conspiracy to create an incident similar to 9/11 and blame Iran for it. Iran fundamentally opposes such terrorist schemes and has no war with the American people.
Comments: To be honest, this is a war where I am struggling to figure out which side I am more angry at. The crown jewel here is the US/Israeli side who brag about all their prowess and intelligence apparatus. With all that they could not figure out that this was not going to be a few days long? That the regime will not fall from the skies? That they have the means to do great harm? Everyone, except Shahollahis knew these things. US military and intelligence also knew it. How could they fall susceptible to ISraeli propaganda like Shahollahis? This is really baffling how USA got duped into this!
Comments: I heard on another analysis that the "unchecked bombings" is happening because Israel is using an AI to select targets and that AI is not supervised. They execute bombing of anything that AI identifies as a target. This is why they bombed "Park e Police" just bacause of the name!
Comments: More this war drags on the harder to avoid the doomsday scenarios. US and Israel are running out of places to hit and they realize IRI is not going to go anywhere soon. People can’t do much with the heavy bombing now or anytime soon. Even the mention of nukes makes me want to throw up. I can’t imagine Tehran after that. I’m afraid they are looking at the end of Iran/Iraq war and see similarities that cause the world to give Saddam the chemical weapons to use against Iran that eventually ended the war. As bad as that was and it was horrible, it didn’t change anything for better in Iran. I believe all the work done internally for freedom is completely lost. The wounded regime will be 100 times harder on citizens that before.
Comments: Israel has been hit real hard, their leaders are now being targeted. What’s the chances they drop A bomb and call it a day? Tel Aviv is rethinking their security n this has turned out to be a mirage They do have a doctrine called Samson - it could be activated no doubt
Comments: The potential of a nuclear war was discussed in a video I watched with a retired admiral. He was saying that the war is not going well at all for the US and Israelis and that this is a war that did not have a plan B which is a big military no no. He said that the math just does not add up. He said Trump has no off ramp (made sure by israilis and some of the bs that he has said himself) so he has no way but to escalate. Then Iran will escalate. "They are very strategic with the use of their armament". They can last for a long time. Then Israel will come under heavier and heavier attack by Iran, having all early warning systems taken out. At that point, he said, they will seriously discuss nukes. He said he does not believe that US will use nukes but thought that Israel will, having left no other option. Then they asked him whether he expects the regime to collapse after say Tehran is completely wiped out. He said no. The regime is well rooted everywhere in Iran. Areal bombardment, even nukes, will not get rid of the regime. He said, you would need about half a million US troupes to take over a country the size of Iran and the US/Israel just do not have that. I'll post the video if I find it again. I thought he was quite unbiased and analytical. Obviously he knew his stuff as well.
Comments: It is often said that the worst evils are committed not by monsters or sadists, but by people who are terrifyingly ordinary. United States “Secretary of War” Pete Hegseth recently remarked with disarming composure in a media interview: “The only ones that need to be worried right now are Iranians who think they’re going to live.” Words spoken without hesitation, as if the prospect of death for millions were merely a strategic calculation.
Comments: Iran says the US attacked from close to Dubai Iran’s foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi, said the U.S. attacked Kharg Island and Abu Musa Island from two locations in the UAE, Ras Al Khaimah and a place “very close to Dubai,” calling that dangerous and saying Iran “will try to be careful not to attack any populated area” there. U.S. Central Command said it had no response to Iran’s claim. A diplomatic adviser to the UAE’s president, Anwar Gargash, rejected accusations that the U.S. used its land or air as a base for its attacks on Kharg Island. Iran has fired hundreds of missiles and drones at Arab Gulf neighbors during the war, but it has said it was targeting U.S. assets, even as hits or attempts were reported on civilian ones such as airports and oil fields.
Comments: Israel launches "wide-scale" strikes on targets in western Iran, the Israeli military says as Iran fires a new wave of missiles US President Donald Trump says Iran wants to make a deal to end the war, but "the terms are not good enough" yet Iran was never going to be a match for the military might wielded by the US, but this conflict is about survivability, writes our security correspondent Trump tells NBC the US may hit Kharg Island - Iran's critical oil export hub - "a few more times just for fun" , after military targets were "obliterated" The US has called on the UK and other nations to help secure the Strait of Hormuz
Comments: You guys are scaring me with the nuke talks!!!🤯 In the meantime, Federal Communications Commission Chairman Brendan Carr on Saturday renewed his criticism and threats against broadcasters over their content, this time with President Donald Trump’s criticism of Iran war reporting as the backdrop. Broadcasters who air “fake news” must “correct course before their license renewals come up,” Carr posted on X, in remarks accompanied by a screenshot of Trump’s Truth Social post earlier in the day accusing the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and “other lowlife ‘papers’ and media” of “terrible reporting” on the U.S. and Israel’s war with Iran.
Comments: Trump’s AI czar calls for U.S. to ‘get out’ of war and warns Iran has a ‘dead man’s switch’ that could render Gulf states almost uninhabitableJason Ma Sat, March 14, 2026 at 9:43 AM PDT Venture capitalist David Sacks, who is President Donald Trump’s AI and crypto czar, warned of potentially catastrophic consequences if the U.S.-Israel war on Iran continues. In an episode of the All-In podcast on Friday, he said “we should probably find the off-ramp,” noting Iran’s military has been devastated. “This is a good time to declare victory and get out, and that is clearly what the markets would like to see,” Sacks added. But he said there’s a faction within the Republican Party and elsewhere who wants to escalate the war, send in ground troops, and seek regime change. In fact, Trump initially pointed to regime change when the war started two weeks ago, but has since downplayed it. Meanwhile, he ordered the U.S. military to attack Iran’s top oil-export node, Kharg Island, and send 2,500 Marines from Asia to the Middle East. The White House didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment. Sacks flagged concerns of a tit-for-tat escalation spiral in Iran that could see both sides targeting each other’s oil and gas infrastructure. By that point, resuming energy flows by reopening the Strait of Hormuz, which Iran has effectively closed, won’t matter because restarting oil and gas production wouldn’t be possible, he said. An even worse scenario could unfold if desalination plants are destroyed, Sacks warned. They provide most of the region’s fresh water and have already been targeted. “If you see that type of destruction continue, you could literally render the Gulf almost uninhabitable,” he explained. “I mean you’re not going to have enough water for 100 million people, and human beings just cannot survive very long without water. So that would be a truly catastrophic scenario, and we’re talking about destroying the Gulf states economically and then also from a humanitarian perspective.” While Israel isn’t as vulnerable, Sacks also pointed out the country has been hit hard by Iranian attacks, adding that “Israel could just be destroyed or very large parts of it” if the war drags on for weeks or months. In a scenario where Israel is facing such a serious threat, that raises the risk of it escalating the war even further and perhaps contemplate the use of nuclear weapons, he said. “So there’s a lot of scenarios here, a lot of really frightening scenarios about where escalation could lead,” Sacks continued. “And even though the United States is a much more powerful country than Iran, they essentially have a dead man’s switch over the economic fate of the Gulf states and even potentially beyond that.”Given the “horrifying directions” that further escalation may produce, he said it’s time to look at de-escalation, which could entail a ceasefire agreement or negotiated settlement. The comments come amid reports that some administration officials are also pushing Trump to seek an off-ramp to the war as the recent spike in oil prices raises political risks. Sources told Reuters that economic advisers and officials have told him that rising gasoline prices could quickly erode already-weak domestic support for the war. More hawkish voices, however, are urging Trump to continue and prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon. “He is allowing the hawks to believe the campaign continues, wants markets to believe the war might end soon and his base to believe escalation will be limited,” a Trump adviser told Reuters.
Comments: Zinsky and Faramarz. Obviously, the ones advocating these unchecked bombings and damage to infrastructure are shallow thinkers (if you can call them thinkers!). It does not affect them directly and they think it is a video game. I think IRI, Trump and Yaboo are getting desperate enough that IRI will destroy the Persian Gulf states and kill/sacrifice our own people just to survive another day and Israel will resort to nukes.
Comments: They should up it to $5 and give $2 to Trump. He would love it and over night become an IRI fan.
Comments: With rumors that Netanyahu has died wildely circulating a very pertinent question being asked by Americans is: Who is running the USA right now?
Comments: Iran is planning to impose a $3/barrel fee on the oil tankers that want to pass thorugh Hormuz. It's estimated it will generate a $20B income annually. |
