By the time Iran plays Egypt tomorrow night, we should have a much more clear picture of the remaining 3rd place spots available.

Getting out of group stage as the best 3rd teams should not be considered a great achievement but for Iran it could be. We have been here before. Going to the 3rd game of the group stage with high expectations and hope. Unfortunately, we have always failed to make it.

After the year Iran had, people back home truly need something to celebrate.

The real WC will start after 32 teams have moved out of group stage!

Very interesting situation in Group F. The winner will get to play MAR and the runner up will play BRA. I think the 3rd place team in that group might get an easier match up.
So JPN/NED might lose to SWE/TUN tomorrow just to end up in 3rd place

I’m not sure what strategy (if any) GN will use. Park the bus might not be the worse at this stage. We need to use some younger players but we got none!
