Comments: Looks like the following are the terms of possible peace treaty that is being worked on: 1. US will stage a phased complete withdrawal from the Persian Gulf 2. US will lift all sanctions on Iran completely 3. Iran will close off all paths to a nuclear weapon 4. Trump will declare that without the war this Deal would not have happened. And use the destroyed infrastructure as justification for US complete withdrawal from the region. "No need for us to be there any more." This deal is being worked on through Steve Witkoff and Russia. Trump wants Russia to convince the Iranians that this is a good deal. What is also quietly being discussed (although I am not sure with the Russians right now) is that Trump will invade and occupy Cuba. He needs a win for the elections. What is unclear to me is where does Israel stand in all of this. I did hear that YAboo admitted yesterday that they will not achieve regime change and need to define victory in a different way.

Comments: After the attack on Iranian Pars gas field Iran has indicated that they will retaliate in kind. There are 2 pipelines that bypass Hormuz by going to the Red Sea. One is connecting Abqaiq in Saudi to the Yanbu port on the red sea. The other is the smaller Habshan–Fujairah oil pipeline in the UAE. It seems Iran is going to target them.
Comments: One note on oil prices. There are 2 prices that are usually active. One is the future price and the other less mentioned is the spot oil price. The future price is like stock options. When you buy it the supplier promises physical delivery to you, usually in 3 months, at the agreed price. That's the one that is widely quoted now and it's around $110/barrel at the momoent. The spot price is for immediate delivery. That is I need 5000 barrels delivered tomorrow what's the price? Comments: Every time I tell myself, it could not get worse, it does. Now both sides going after oil and gas infrastructures which US/Israel started. It’s really bad for all but much worse for Iranians. I can see no gas, electricity and water in coming days/weeks in Iran. We all complain about gas prices going higher and that is a real issue but Iranians are going to be cut off from any source of energy rather soon. If the calculation was to get people more desperate, it might work this time. Signs of desperation are showing in U.S. and Israel as well. They banked on a short war with IRI falling apart without a leader. This could get really ugly…
