Comments: Maghsoud market after Christmas until tomorrow half day is about positioning, profit taking and tax anticipation. Selling at profit is what real investors positioning themselves to position for bottom fishing in Q1. Heavyweight stocks with big profits like MSFT, AAPL and TSLA are selling for that reason. Selling volume is higher than buying. Many also getting rid of junk stocks at loss to offset some of the gains for tax purposes. New Administration policy proposals will need to be digested and we have to see what happens with Germany, Trudeau and Canada since all play heavy role in US economy. Analysts anticipate a dip of 15% in Q1 as company expenditure is highest. Great bottom fishing window of opportunity in Q1. Shipping and cargo industry is another big investment opportunity in 2025

Comments: Some years ago, I saw an interview with Carter when the reporter asked him whether he would do things differently now that he has seen the consequences in the middle east. He said I have no regrets.
Considering how many people have died in the region and all over the world including here in the US (911 comes to mind) as a result of US meddling in the affairs of this region that is an astonishing statement. He may not have been the decision maker, he was at least an accomplice. But I think he was also the instrument of that decision and executed the orders. IMO people are still losing their lives as a consequences of the changes that they made to the region 40+ years ago. So, I also consider him as directly responsible for all the havoc, murder, and destruction. Although I do not consider him as the sole decision maker or sole responsible. |
