Comments: It is really interesting to see all this unfold between Ali Karimi and RPG. Karimi was a brilliant player who had enormous potential. Just to give you a yardstick, I do not think TArtemi has half of the Karimi's ball control. But TArtemi's success kojA and Karimi's success kojA. Same comparison holds for Kia and Karimi, or Daei and Karimi. The main issue with Karimi was always his self-centered view of the world. It does not benefit the team. I think his moves outside the field reflects the same pattern. I predicted this years ago and have had arguments about this with many people, mostly Perspolis fans, who worship him. To me, it is very clear what RPG and his goons will do from here on. It will be interesting to see what Karimi does now that he has split from RPG and is under attack by his goons. There are two clear paths forward for him. If he really cares about Iran, he will remain active in politics and continue but without promoting RPG. But if we see that he slowly goes quiet, then we know that Iran and the condition in Iran was only an excuse for him to achieve his personal goals. I pick door #2.
