South Africa X - X Canada But if you think it is going to be a tie game (after 90 and 120 minutes) that requires penalties, let me know and also tell me who is going to win the penalty shootout. I will figure out a scoring methodology tomorrow. I am just too exhausted today. I did not sleep last night much (up until 5 a.m.) because of the Iran's game.
Comments: What a roller-coaster day.., especially the last game. FIFA got what they wanted, Iran is out. Today's and end of Group stage ranking is as follows. We have a tie for first place between, LOL and Farid-LA. Perspectives! is in 3rd place. Hamvatan is in 4th place and Zinslky and Daryuish are tied for 5th spot.

Comments: This is unbelievable. Algeria scored in minute 95 to make it 3-2 and Austria scored right away in the last play of the game! WTF

In the continuaiton of the play the ball does hit the keeper and falls to Iran's #4 but he was" lol by this definition, the origin of the play is when the ref blows the whistle to start the game and the play ends when he blows the whistle to end the game. This is not the offside rule my friend. In the rule, there is such a thing as "involved" players. If shojA interfered with the keeper when the shot was taken, then yes, may be offside could be argued. But clearly ShojA did not interfere. The shot was taken and it bounced off the keeper. At that moment, that play was done. There have been many many goals allowed like this in this and other worldcups.

Comments: Actually if a miracle happens and Iran advances it has a better chance of EGY to make it to the quarter finals. EGY if they beat AUS they end up with ARG. We play SWI in the first round which is possible to beat and then either POR?COL or CQ's GHA in the next round which also not impossible. So dream big
Comments: Zinsky, I definitely want us to advance to the next round, who know what may happen between now and the next World Cup, I want to advance now, when I can. I don't care if we lose to Switzerland badly, either.
Comments: LOL, I will state the rules for the next round. I did the same in the last few World Cups, the rules, as you suspected do change and there are chances to gain more than 6 points per game.
