Comments: Someone posted this: "one thing i keep thinking about is how there is simply no way to design a constitutional system that can resist authoritarian incursion if participants in that system do not actually care that much" My response: This is why it is so dangerous to keep your population dumb and uninformed. No amount of law will then protect you.
Comments: Another one but I haven’t tried it myself https://www.noonokabab.com/
Comments: Thanks Zinsky. Reza's was great when I was in mid west as well. But that was so long ago. I will head that way for Norouz. Good to see Reza's is still around. I do not know whether you know the owner but the story is that he was running the restaurant at the big marriot in Atlanta. He then moved to Chicago to open the restaurant. I remember when the first one was so small. Then he gradually bought the shops around it and made it bigger. And then he opened several other branches. At its hay days it used to have shuttles bringing people from all over town to its restaurants for free. The dude is a real business man. Knew what to do.
Comments: Trump be ye tork khord ...
Comments: Time for Trump to put up or shut the fuck up! Iran's President to Trump: I will not negotiate, 'do whatever the hell you want'
Comments: Teractor was playing in KSA after tie in Tehran (0-0). Game ended 2-2 on the 2nd leg but rather than the old rule of scoring in opponents home wins, they went to penalties and Teractor lost! That was our last club in Asia.
Comments: Faramarz, This was one of the best when I worked in Chicago. Reza's Restaurant- Evanston
Comments: Oh I remember the clash but did not know the back story. So, they interfered in russian elections? I guess this is simply a payback then!
Comments: They did this to Russia back in the first term of Obama, hence the clash between Hillary and Putin, if u recall. US literally interfered with the Russian election. Making a lot of noises.
Comments: Complete lack of conscience, convictions, and ethics. This is what it takes to do this to other nations, watch them suffer and die, while they fill their pockets. These republicans and democrats for that manner have no conscience. Unfortunately, a segment of the population has also lost its convictions. When you cheer for America to go bomb your country from thousands of miles away, you have lost your soul. You no longer respect other people's lives. That is a horrible thing to happen to a society and it is happening more and more in the world.
Comments: I am sure the Russian chat bots had something to do in promoting him in the red land. Even Putin could not have asked for a better partner in crime than this guy. What is amazing for me is how the rest of republican party has lined up behind him. If you can call them republican party anymore.
Comments: So fucking amazing to me that such an obviously illiterate fool can be sold as people's savior. Speaks volumes about the power of social engineering. In some ways, I look at it as "what goes around comes around". They have done this to other countries all the time and now they American society who remained ignorant to the despair of other nations has become the victim.
Comments: It's amazing for me how many people think of him as a successful businessman 🥴🥴🫢🫢😳😳🤔🤔 I guess our old Persian expression is true: مردم عقلشون به چشم شونه 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
Comments: He could never complete a meaningful and coherent sentence. I guess that's why many non-college graduate voters understand him and connect with him. Very similar to GWB. Except GWB was at least a decent human and not an asshole. Imagine if 9/11 had happened during tramp's presidency 🫢🫢🫢😳😳😳
Comments: Yup. Always been that way. What is amazing to me is that some call him a genius.
Comments: He can’t even make a full sentence Just look at his responses
Comments: What a disaster. I think Reza is right. I do not think he will finish his term. This is such a bullshit! Holy cow!
Comments: And the shitshow goes on....🤬🤬🤬
Comments: BREAKING: Fox News henchman Peter Doocy brutally confronts Donald Trump to his face for destroying the economy with his disastrous tariffs — while Elon Musk lurks in shame nearby. What was supposed to be a Tesla sales pitch quickly devolved into a humiliating mess... "President Trump, you're buying a new car while there are some folks who will see this clip at home and they are struggling with their retirement accounts down at the moment, uncertainty about work ahead..." said Doocy. "Well, I think they're gonna do great. I think we're, uh, our country had to do this. We had to go and do this," said Trump. "They've taken away... Other countries have taken away our business. They've taken away our jobs." "Uh, I did it, uh, initially very strongly against — as you know China and some others in the first term — and it was a very successful term," continued Trump. "We had no inflation." "We had the greatest economy in the history of our country and then we had COVID which we had to straighten out," said Trump, conveniently eliding the fact that he botched the pandemic response. The confrontation came during a PR event at the White House during which Trump touted his decision to buy a Tesla, a pathetic and transparent effort to boost the plummeting stock of his oligarch puppetmaster's flagship company. Elon Musk himself was present for the proceedings, wearing the trademark sunglasses that many have speculated are meant to hide his alleged ketamine abuse. At another point during the tacky car salesman routine, Trump was confronted by a different reporter— "Mr. President you mentioned the ups and downs in the stock market. You said it'll go up, it'll go down but do you and your tariff policies right now bear any responsibility for the turmoil we're seeing this week?" asked a reporter. "No, I think that uh... Biden gave us a horrible economy," lied Trump. "He gave us horrible inflation and I think the, uh, market was gonna go very, very bad." The truth, of course, is that we are hurtling towards a recession because Trump decided to hit Canada and Mexico with punishing tariffs for no discernible reason beyond exciting his xenophobic base. "Uh, if anything I have a lot of very smart people, friends of mine, and great businessman, they're now investing because of what I'm doing," Trump claimed. "Because long term what I'm doing is making our country strong again." "Financially strong. Militarily strong," he continued. "And strong — and we want to get away — remember this, we have wars — when I left we had no wars. We didn't have Ukraine and Russia. We didn't have October 7th. We didn't have that disaster that took place with the withdrawal from Afghanistan and you look at what's happened there." Outside of the lie-riddled and inane remarks Trump spewed, the event itself was an utter disgrace. Using the White House to sell cars for a billionaire crony is a new low for the American presidency. This is the most corrupt administration in history. Please like and share if you would NEVER buy a Tesla now! Follow Occupy Democrats for more.
