Comments: the drummer guy in the video is ILG (Indian Looking Guy)
Comments: The United States blew through about a quarter of its supply of high-end THAAD missile interceptors during Israel’s 12-day war with Iran in June, according to two sources familiar with the operation, thwarting attacks at a rate that vastly outpaces production. US forces countered Tehran’s barrage of ballistic missiles by firing more than 100 THAADs (short for Terminal High Altitude Area Defense) – and possibly as many as 150 – a significant portion of America’s stockpile of the advanced air defense system, the sources said. The US has seven THAAD systems, and used two of them in Israel in the conflict. Using so many THAAD interceptors in such a short period exposed a gap in the US missile defense network and depleted a costly asset at a moment when American public support for Israeli defense has reached historic lows.
Comments: QS just became a buy. Not a short term buy but buy nevertheless
Comments: Not to show off but I bought AMD back in 2008 for less than $5. I accumulated about 4000 shares but right now only hold 1000 shares. Another semi stock to consider is AMAT(Applied Materials) they make the equipment that INTC, AMD, NVDA, etc....use to make their chips. It pays a good dividend too. I bought that back in 1995 for less than $5 too
Comments: This sounds like the INTC of the 90's and 2000's. Doesn't it? Everyone said AMD has no chance.
Comments: The only caveat here is that in AI domain, you need to beware that number 1 is the real winner n there are very little to no room for second or third place. What I mean is AMD pursing NVDA in GPU design is futile at best. They need to come up with a novel approach/architecture to go head to head. NVDA is intrenched and financially secure that can push competitors to the brink of bankruptcy Their market cap is 1 trillion more than France’s GDP 😳
Comments: On the discussions about AMD, I should say that they are doing to NVDA in the AI domain what they did to INTC in the CPU area. The strategy has been super successful. We'll see if NVDA will fall asleep like INTC did. Probably not. NVDA is already investing heavily in QC. So, they keep pushing. INTC just sat on its ass and did nothing.

Comments: This is best case scenario for Towel heads. Bunch of fuckin idiot dictator loving fucks that won’t add up to 100 or so holding the flag of a country that not only committing genocide but just a month ago bomb your own civilians n killed many innocent people. This is exactly what they need to say look these people living abroad in luxury want their old life back in Iran where they were Arbab n rest of us were Raiyat. So fuckin SAD
Comments: The following organizations have classified what is happening in Gaza as a genocide: the United Nations Special Rapporteurs, Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, the Center for Constitutional Rights, and the International Association of Genocide Scholars. Yet leaders in Congress and The U.S. House of Representatives show little urgency. When you follow the money, it becomes clear why: 100% of House GOP leadership and 75% of Democratic House leadership share the same top donor: AIPAC. AIPAC advocates for the interests of the Israeli government, which has shown no willingness to recognize the human rights of Palestinians. Their positions on Gaza make a lot more sense once you look at their financial backers. As always, follow the money. https://www.instagram.com/p/DMBTI8bxi9h/
Comments: The guy in the middle reminds me of ShabAn bimokh. And the woman in the yellow dress, what is that? Is it supposed to be a traditional dress? It looks more like a clown suit!

Comments: Water shortage is the scariest thing that can happen. It is really scary what is happening in Iran. There will be water wars soon.
Comments: They are not as flashy as others like NVDA and AVGO, but they are catching up. At this point, all the AI activities are around the data centers and the required processing for big AI models and LLM. For individual users, this means constant connectivity to be able to use the models. In the not too far future, there will be a need to have the same level of intelligence in the absence of connectivity, which means consumer products need powerful processing units for everything. I am betting that AMD will play a role in that space as well.
Comments: Maghsoud I watched an interview with her and she was damn impressive a few months ago. She predicted this exact scenario!
Comments: AMD is a solid stock
Comments: AMD is just picking up. Lisa Su is one of the better Semiconductor CEOs around. Thanks to her AMD has gone from couple dollar stock to where it is now. And they will not stop. They have lots of potential in the future AI deployment. I will be buying more on any drops before $150.
Comments: In the mean time PYPL is dropping like a rock from the sky. |
