There are end games/goals for Trump's cronies, depending on contingencies. For Trump himself, I think he is too dim to develop a feasible end game for himself. I think he will be just as screwed as the country will be. He just does not recognize this now.

Comments: I have heard of this argument too. It comes mostly from Trump fans. But now they are in a bind because they are hoping that Trump will dismantle IRS but what he is going to do is to shrink it, and still collect taxes. So, that will be an interesting time to see what these people will do.

Comments: Good morning Tehran, Anxiety is high as indirect talks seems to be going on between Washington and Tehran. That and the economy are the main topics in any gathering. From simple office workers to big traders and business owners, they are all worried about the possibility of bigger conflicts. Big items such as housing, rugs, gold and jewelry are all at stand still. Everyone is talking about the lack of confidence and money to shop big items. For the first time that I remember, housing is showing the signs of recession. Bigger apartments are slowly but surely going lower in prices as sellers are getting nervous. Overall, other than economic conditions, the rest of the issues such as hair covering, loud music playing everywhere and almost no one seems to care about fasting are temporary easing some pressure on people for now. |
