More followers, more support among world leaders and world powers? Why is it that the rest don’t get online, as much? I understand the ones in Iran don’t have the freedom to speak freely but are there any outside Iran or he is it! I assume he has the support of Israel and Jewish community but at least here in Boston area that doesn’t seem to be the case. I know couple of Jewish doctors and both hate him! Either way, he seems to be played as well. If he is being paid to do all these interviews and appearances, why not but if he truly believes that the west and Trump are on “his side”, he will be disappointed again! Did you guys see Amanpour interview with him, Graham and the EU president in Germany? Amanpour is getting lots of hate from his supporters for being too tough with him! They comparing her interview with the IRI leaders and how gentle she was vs how serious she was with Reza!!! She asked good questions and Reza tried to stick to the script.

Comments: The article makes a solid point that I had noticed but didn’t pay much credence to, namely Pahlavi movement is about media messaging mostly not an economic or governance movement with clear goals and responsibilities. Also note worthy is that most its supporters are simply commited to slogans and nostalgia, very few if any are willing to uproot their lives and move back to help rebuild Iran while they seem not to have an issue with US and Israel bombing the shit out of the country. Their logic if not him who then, well if he sits down for a moment and allow the other voices to be heard there are other qualified candidates- from jailed human rights lawyer (they labeled her a sell out to IR), to a Balooch rapper who had his arm broken, his teeth knocked out but still remained in Iran ( they label him as broken under torture and now a tool of IR because he had to write confession to get out), yet their leader is Monday night QB asking others to endanger their lives for his cause - pathetic

Comments: چرا نباید پهلوی... روایتی جامعه‌شناسانه از نوستالژی، قدرت و حافظه‌ی انتخابی ✍محمد علی پور بازگشت پهلوی، پیش از آن‌که یک پروژهٔ سیاسی باشد، یک پدیدهٔ اجتماعی/روانی است. این ایده نه از دل سازمان‌یافتگی، نه از بطن نهادهای مدنی، و نه از تجربهٔ زیستهٔ کنش جمعی، بلکه از دل خستگی تاریخی، فرسودگی اجتماعی و فروپاشی افق آینده زاده شده است. جامعه‌ای که آینده را ناممکن می‌بیند، ناگزیر به گذشته پناه می‌برد. زیگمونت باومن این وضعیت را رتروتوپیا می‌نامد، آرمان‌شهری که نه در فردا، بلکه در دیروز جست‌وجو می‌شود. اما گذشته اگر هم زیباتر روایت شود ظرفیت بازگشت ندارد، به‌ویژه گذشته‌ای که خود، حامل تناقض‌های حل‌نشده بوده است. پهلوی در حافظهٔ نوستالژیک امروز، نه به‌عنوان یک ساختار قدرت تاریخی، بلکه به‌مثابه یک تصویر پالایش‌شده و بی‌تعارض بازنمایی می‌شود. جامعه، پهلوی را نه آن‌گونه که بود، بلکه آن‌گونه که امروز به آن نیاز دارد، به یاد می‌آورد: نظم در برابر بی‌نظمی، توسعه در برابر فروپاشی، ثبات در برابر نااطمینانی. این بازسازی حافظه، تحلیل تاریخی نیست؛ مکانیسم دفاعی جامعهٔ زخم‌خورده است. حافظه‌ای که حذف می‌کند، ساده می‌کند و سکوت‌های ساختاری را به دوران طلایی بدل می‌سازد. از منظر جامعه‌شناسی قدرت، بازگشت پهلوی با یک تناقض بنیادین روبه‌روست: پهلوی محصول شرایط خاص قرن بیستم بود؛ جامعه‌ای با سطح پایین مشارکت سیاسی، رسانه‌های متمرکز، فقدان جامعهٔ مدنی نهادینه و دولت مدرنِ اقتدارگرا که توسعه را از بالا تحمیل می‌کرد. جامعهٔ امروز ایران در وضعیت سرکوب و فرسودگی جامعه‌ای شبکه‌ای، تجربه‌دیده، بدبین به قدرت و آگاه به سازوکار سلطه است. جامعه‌ای که انقلاب، اصلاح، خیابان، سرکوب و زیست دیجیتال را از سر گذرانده، دیگر با منطق قدرتِ متمرکز نجات‌بخش کنار نمی‌آید. مسئلهٔ پهلوی فقط گذشته بودن نیست مسئله، منطق قدرت آن است. نظام پهلوی حتی در روایت‌های مثبت نظامی بود که: توسعه را بر مشارکت ترجیح داد دولت را جایگزین جامعه کرد سیاست را از مردم گرفت تا به‌جایش برایشان تصمیم بگیرد این منطق، دقیقاً همان منطقی است که در نهایت، خود را منفجر کرد و انقلاب ۵۷ را ممکن ساخت. بازتولید این الگو، یعنی بازتولید چرخه‌ای آشنا: تمرکز، حذف، انباشت نارضایتی و انفجار. از سوی دیگر، پهلوی به‌عنوان آلترناتیو، از یک ضعف جامعه‌شناختی اساسی رنج می‌برد: پایهٔ اجتماعی کنشگر ندارد؛ فقط هوادار دارد. هوادار، مصرف‌کنندهٔ تصویر است، کنشگر، تولیدکنندهٔ تغییر. پهلوی‌خواهی امروز، بیش از آن‌که در میدان سازمان‌یابی اجتماعی، اتحادیه‌ها، شوراها و شبکه‌های واقعی حضور داشته باشد، در رسانه‌ها، نوستالژی تصویری و سیاستِ کم‌هزینهٔ آنلاین زنده است. سیاستی که هزینه نمی‌دهد، سازمان نمی‌سازد و مسئولیت نمی‌پذیرد، در لحظهٔ بحران فرو می‌ریزد. بازگشت پهلوی جذاب است چون ساده است؛ اما خطرناک است چون ساده‌سازی می‌کند. سیاست، وقتی ساده شود، دوباره به استبداد ختم می‌شود حتی اگر این‌بار با نوستالژی، پرچم و سرود همراه باشد. مسئلهٔ ایران، فقدان شاه یا ... نیست، مسئله، فقدان قرارداد اجتماعی نوین است. و هیچ گذشته‌ای حتی اگر بزک‌شده و تطهیر شده باشد نمی‌تواند جای آن را بگیرد. |
