Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi told his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi on Saturday that Beijing "explicitly condemns Israel" for its attacks against Iran and that it backs Tehran's military response to protect its national sovereignty.
The comments were made when the two foreign ministers had a phone call on Saturday.
"China explicitly condemns Israel for violating Iran’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity," Wang said. "China firmly opposes the brutal attacks targeting Iranian officials that have caused civilian casualties, and supports Iran in safeguarding its national sovereignty, defending its legitimate rights and interests, and protecting the safety of its people."
"Israel’s actions severely violate the purposes and principles of the United Nations Charter, as well as the basic norms of international relations," he continued. "In particular, its attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities sets a dangerous precedent and could lead to catastrophic consequences."
He added that China "supports the international community in upholding justice and speaking out promptly" and urges countries with influence over Israel "to make concrete efforts to restore peace."
"China is willing to maintain communication with Iran and other relevant parties and continue to play a constructive role in easing tensions," Wang said. "China hopes that Iran will ensure the safety of Chinese institutions and personnel."

The fact that Iranian drones and missiles are able to penetrate the 'mother of all air defense' systems in the most protected airspace in the world is a great advertisement for Iranian technology and establishes Iran as a new power in weapons design and manufacturing.
In a few years Iran will be able to make a lot more money out of it's military sales than oil.

Israel is in shock that Iran has been able to rebuild it's command and control structure in less than 24 hours after losing all the top commanders.
In fact despite starting the war based on Iran's nuclear program in the first wave of attacks they went for killing all the commanders and scientists. Iran's nuclear facilites are largely intact and only the above ground facilites in Natanz are damaged.
They thought this way Iran will not be able to respond to them for a while but Iran has suprised them. So I am certain that after recieveing a very robust and unexpected response from Iran, Israel is now scrambling and begging it's allies to intervene and bring the tit for tat strikes to an end.

Sen. Chris Murphy, D-CT., wrote on X that Israel’s attack was "clearly intended to scuttle the Trump administration's negotiations with Tehran," and is "further evidence of how little respect world powers - including our own allies - have for President Trump."
Murphy, the top Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee on Europe, was later mocked for using the situation to slam Trump:
"Do you think Israel respected Biden, Obama, or Bush? Now is not the time for a partisan bromide," one critic replied.
"You think Kamala could’ve stopped them?" riffed another.
