Counterintelligence documents indicate that Iranian intelligence services continue to operate actively on Russian territory. Tehran's main goals are to gain access to modern weapons and advanced technologies in the fields of aerospace, electronics and nuclear energy, as well as to circumvent Russian restrictions on the acquisition of military and dual-use products. In addition, Iran's attention is focused on establishing influence among the Russian Muslim clergy and spreading Shiite Islam. In these same documents, the Russian side directly points to the need to infiltrate Iranian special services in order to obtain valuable information about the actions of the Islamic Republic in the Russian Federation. In particular, it emphasizes countering potential Iranian "information campaigns" in the religious environment, which could lead to "interfaith conflicts." A source in the FSB military counterintelligence specified that even during the presidency of Dmitry Medvedev, Russia formulated a course according to which Iran is perceived as an enemy rather than an ally. Despite all the public statements about friendship, the Kremlin has never retreated from the principled position that Tehran should not have nuclear weapons. This is probably the reason for Moscow's weak reaction to the Israeli and American strikes on Iranian facilities related to the nuclear program. Although Russia condemned them, its criticism of Israel and the United States was cautious. Earlier , Iran initiated a meeting with Putin after the American strikes – the head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Abbas Araghchi, was sent to Moscow. However, no practical steps by the Russian Federation to support Iran following this meeting are currently known.

Comments: I have been trying to understand why people in Iran started rallying around the flag after the attacks and disappointed the analysts that expected an uprising. - The timing of the attack was the biggest factor. The enemy went for the surprise factor and they were successful at it. But the poeple quickly realized that they were bamboozeld by the "west" and did not like it. That's just part of the pahlevani Iranian culture, Iranians don't appreciate hitting or getting hit in a najavanmardaneh way. - IRI controlled the process of events that led to the attacks masterfully. If you recall after Trump took office and started floating the idea of negotiations, the leader at first dismissed it and said it was not sherafatmandaneh to negotiate with the Americans. But later the IRI realized that's what the enemy was looking for, that is to attack Iran and excuse it by saying Iran refused to negotiate. So they accepted to enter negotiations to remove this excuse. This was a very wise decision, as the IRI was able to tell the world, and more importantly the Iranian public, that we tried negotiaitons and were attacked in the middle of it. This meant they guaranteed public support once the surprise atatck happened. - The quick recovery of the IRI system from the initial shock and retaliation on the enemy projected the sense of power that the public did not expect. Once that happened and the images of destruction in Tel Aviv and Haifa was shown on live TV people relaized that they are not alone and the system can inflict real damage on the enemy. The Iranian nationalism was then ignited and transformed even the most anti-IRI people into it's ardent supporters.

Both sides can cause damage but that is all they can do. If they start the war again, it will cause damage and casualties but nothing else.

Comments: «مش قاسمیسم» بی شک یکی از برترین رمانهای فارسی «دایی جان ناپلئون» نوشته ایرج پزشکزاد است. این رمان دو نکته مهم را به جامعه ایران معرفی کرد: توهمات دایی جان ناپلئونی و توطئه انگلیسیها در هر موردی! هرچند باید اعتراف کرد که «مش قاسم» در بخش سیاسی ایرانیان مغفول مانده است! * «مش قاسم» سرایدار بی سواد دایی جان بود که چند سالی در خانه اش مشغول فعالیت بود و پس از آنکه متوجه شد دایی جان درگیر توهماتش است به تدریج خود را وارد دنیای ذهنی دایی جان کرد و اندکی بعد بدل به «مصدر» دایی جان در جنگ های مختلف شد و برای آنکه بیشتر خود را به دایی جان نزدیک کند، با جعل روایات مختلف از جنگ های خیالی مبدل به شخص مورد اعتماد و دست راست دایی جان شد که برای هرکاری از او مشورت می گرفت. «مش قاسم» توانست تفکرات خود را به آهستگی وارد ذهن دایی جان کرده و بسیاری از حرفهای دایی جان، حرفهای «مش قاسم» بود. * «مش قاسمیسم» مکتبی است که پس از انقلاب 57 در ایران رواج یافت. بعد از آنکه تسویه حسابها انجام شد و نیروهای انقلابی مشغول فعالیت شدند، «مش قاسم»هایی شکل گرفتند که بدون سواد و تخصص وارد حکومت داری شده و بسیاری از آنها عقده هایی که از حکومت قبل داشتند را سر مردم خالی کردند. مردمی که مستحق تر از آنها برای گرفتن پست و مقام بودند اما بلد نبودند چگونه به بدنه حاکمیت ورود کنند. * مصداق بارز «مش قاسمیسم» دنیای امروز را باید انجمن حجیته های سابق یا همان پایدارچی های امروز دانست. سیاسیونی که سالها در بخشهای پایین حکومت بودند و با ظهور معجزه هزاره سوم بدل به وزیر و نماینده مجلس شدند. آنها که پیش از این تنها در نقش «مش قاسم» در گوش روسا حرف زده و تفکرات به اصطلاح انقلابی خودشان را به دیگران دیکته می کردند، یکباره صاحب قدرت و حکومت شده و با همان تفکرات حکومتی ساختند که نتیجه اش را امروز از اقتصاد تا فرهنگ مشاهده می کنیم. * سعید جلیلی که کارمند ساده وزارت خارجه بود پس از ریاست جمهوری احمدی نژاد به خاطر انقلابی گری (!) به معاونت اروپا و آمریکای وزارت خارجه دست یافت و اندکی بعد بدون هیچ تجربه خاصی دبیر شورای امنیت ملی و رییس تیم مذاکره هسته ای ایران شد. قطعنامه هایی که اقتصاد ایران را فلج و صنعت کشور را قلع و قمع کرد در زمان او در سازمان ملل تصویب شد که هنوز هم پابرجاست. جلیلی دوبار کاندیدای انتخابات مجلس شد که رای نیاورد و بعدتر خود را شایسته ریاست جمهوری دانست چراکه خود «مش قاسم» دهه هفتاد و هشتاد، توسط «مش قاسم»های دهه نود محاصره شده بود و توهم نجات کشور داشت. در سال 92 و 1403 نیز در انتخابات ریاست جمهوری از رقبا شکست خورد و در مناظره ها مشخص شد سطح اندیشه و برنامه های کشورداری او شاید از یک فرماندار شهرستان کوچک هم پایین تر است. * امثال «مش قاسم»هایی مانند سعید جلیلی در عرصه سیاست ایران کم نیست. مداحی که مدیرعامل پتروشیمی شد، روحانی که به خاطر حضور در تلویزیون چهره و بعدتر نماینده مجلس شد. به قول عبدالرضا داوری وزیری که به خاطر «عقب ماندگی ذهنی» معافیت از سربازی گرفته بود. افراد فراوانی که به خاطر ارتباط فامیلی و «مش قاسم»گری قوی شان فرماندار و شهردار و استاندار شده و حتی محمود احمدی نژادی که در بهترین حالت ممکن می توانست شهردار قرچک ورامین شود بدل به رییس جمهور ایران شد. * «مش قاسم» خود را مذهبی و اهل دین می دانست و همیشه برای اثبات اینکه حرفش درست است می گفت:«دروغ چرا؟ تا قبر آ آ آ آ...» یعنی تا قبر چهار انگشت بیشتر فاصله نیست و نباید دروغ گفت اما به عنوان یک انسان مذهبی(نما) تمام قسم هایش دروغ بود و هرجایی که به نفعش بود به سادگی دروغ می گفت. اتفاقی که در جناح اصولگرایی (هنوز مشخص نیست به کدام اصول پایبند هستند) بسیار دیده شده و دروغگویی بدل به یک «اصل» برای این جناح شده است. «مش قاسم»های امروز به «ماکیاولی» ایمان داشته و حاضرند برای رسیدن به اهداف خود، همه چیز را فدا کنند. * اشکال از «مش قاسم»ها نیست بلکه مشکل اصلی از «دایی جان ناپلئون»هایی است که اجازه می دهند این افراد گرد آنها جمع شده و به توهماتشان دامن می زنند. اگر «دایی جان» های امروز کمی از توهم فاصله بگیرند و با واقعیت زندگی روبرو شده و دنبال دشمنان فرضی نباشند به طور حتم «مش قاسم»ها را دیگر در کشور نخواهیم دید و زندگی مردم دستخوش تغییر فراوان خواهد شد. هرچند تا بوده «مش قاسم»ها بودند و خواهند بود...
