Comments: I have a similar story. In 2016 as Avago took over Broadcom, we were going through a transition period. A number of our SJ guys were to be laid off but got a contract for 6 months which paid them a good penny ( sorta severance). My boss was elected or volunteered not sure which to help with the transition so he would send me to SJ 3 times a week. On Thursday return flight which left SJC at 6:15 PM, I always ended up with this Indian fellow from QCOM who wore these flip flops with the dirtiest n smellest feet. And he would always wave at me to sit with him 🤣. After 3 flights, I told my boss I am not leaving on 6 pm flight n need to be home earlier 😉
