Comments: Here is another stat to show you how good Iran was in this tournament. We have seen how hard it is for any team to come back from a goal down and not lose. Only a handful of teams were able to do it. But Iran did it the most. Comments: With one game remaining here is the grade for all the groups: Group I: A+(only group with 2 teams in the quarters, FRA and NOR) Groups C,G,H,J,L: A(Group winners made it to the last 8) Depending on the result later today Group B or K will get an A grade. Groups A,D,E,F,(B or K) all get F grade
Comments: So, in review, both teams scored 3 goals. But Argentina won because Ref decided to cancel one of Egypt's goals. In return, some suspect calls/no calls: 1. Argentina's first goal should have been offside and was not called. 2. Argentina's second goal was a foul in their own box and was not called. So, three suspect calls/no calls all in favor of Argentina. Do I have it right?

Comments: I am telling you, after seeing all these teams, Iran with the General in charge was good enough to be at least in the last 16 if it wasn't for all the FIFA and Trump regime's obstacles that was put in front of them. Time magazine had it right "Iran must be the unluckiest sports team in history"

Comments: We knew Argentine was going to win this game, just didn't know by what score and when. The rest was academic. Their 2nd goal should have been pulled back the same way Egypt's 2nd goal was pulled back by the foul at the other end. In fact Argentina's foul was a penalty. FIFA and the referee would not allow Egypt to advance past Argentina. The same way they did not allow Iran to advance from the group stage. FIFA has lost its credibility completely now..., and I mean their credibility is "ZERO".
Comments: It started with Iran but kept getting worse. Worse WC as far as ref/VAR decisions.

Comments: Argentina was another team that was riding a hype, especially as it concerned Messi. He is good but he is also old. He plays (some times) for MLS for god's sake. Sooner or later reality was bound to catch up with them. I did not expect it to be this fast though.
