Alireza Beiranvand recorded his second successive clean sheet in the 2020-21 Belgian Jupiler Pro League.
Antwerp defeated Cercle Brugge 1-0 Wednesday night and moved to the third place of the League.
Beiranvand had helped Antwerp beat Gent 1-0 on Sunday.
The shot-stopper is in a really good mood and it’s very promising since he had conceded three goals in his first match against KV Mechelen in Jupiler Pro League.

Tasnim – TEHRAN, Iran legend Ali Daei says that Cristiano Ronaldo deserves to break his goalscoring record for the most strikes in the international football.

Daei scored 109 times in 149 appearances for Iran, while Ronaldo now sits on 102 goals in 170 matches for Portugal.

Ronaldo has a chance to improve his record in matches against Azerbaijan or Luxembourg.

“Nobody deserves to break my record more than Ronaldo,” Daei said in an interview with Kicker.

“He is without a doubt the best footballer of all time. I am convinced that there is a reward for the people who work hard and are determined, so he deserves it,” he added.

Faramarz very well said and I thank you for taking the time and not shutting up.

Iran lost so much for being the "beatch" of the US. We were way better than that and have been paying the price ever since!

The second problem which incidentally Shah commented on was the influence of western media on their population. America claims to be the beacon of democracy-a model for all other countries to follow. But the question in my mind is whether this is really democracy. If people do not understand the choices they make, how much value does that democracy has? If the media keeps feeding the people that America is great and that there are no problems (this message is going to hugely intensify with Biden), and make everything including elections money-based, are we then not selling out democracy? Has America not found a way to brain wash its people and guide them to vote the way the elite want? This to me does not sound like democracy.

The combination of these two issues create trump supporters who will hide but not go away. The believe:

1. America is great
2. It is great because they make a ton of money for mediocre jobs
3. But when China shows up and takes their jobs away, then reach the conclusion that amerika was great, it is these foreigners who are taking their jobs away. When the reality is that the rich sold their jobs away to China long time ago and now really the only way is for them to get reeducated and find new types of jobs.

As a result, when someone like Trump shows up and promises to get rid of the foreigners and bring the good old amerika back through the brain washing machinery, they believe the empty promise. Just like how some ridiculously naive hamvatans believed that he would actually change the regime in Iran.

This group of Trump supporters is not small. It is about half the country. Biden's approach will be to ignore them like before and pretend that they do not exist and therefore America is the heaven on Earth. None of this is going to work in the long term. America needs to wake up smell the crap in its own yard and try to find reasonable solutions for it. I do not see that happening with Republicans or Democrats.

An example, before I shut up: The immigration bill that Biden proposes is ridiculous without a plan (significant investment) to honestly help the developing world to improve their economies. As long as the source is bad, the flood of people will continue. So, my eyes do not drink water. I think Biden is going to follow the traditional democrats playbook and continue make things worse, albeit not as fast as the idiot did.

Another promising COVID-19 vaccine candidate
According to an interim data release from its phase 1/2 clinical trial, more than 90% of 805 healthy volunteers who received JNJ-78436735 developed neutralizing antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 by day 29 post-inoculation. Further, 100% of participants aged 18 to 55 developed those antibodies by day 57. The vaccine with well-tolerated, with only fever, muscle aches, and injection site pain reported as side effects.
The immune response persisted well up to day 71, which marked the most recent update to the trial. Here's the kicker -- the experimental vaccine produced exceptional efficacy after just a single dose. For comparison, only 52% of patients who received the Pfizer (NYSE:PFE) vaccine developed neutralizing antibodies against COVID-19 after the first injection.p
Given that this could be a one-dose vaccine and is stable at normal refrigerator temperatures, it may be a game-changer in terms of distribution logistics.

Zinsky jAn, I agree with everything you said, especially, America having lost its leadership and respect, which by the way was all the capital that it had. This was clear from the get go but Trump supporters said that the sky will not fall. Well, it was falling before he took office but he significantly accelerated the fall.

In my opinion, there are several fundamental problems in America which was obvious from the 70's and the leadership in this country has chosen to close its eye to it:

1. Shah made a point of this first point which the west did not like and I believe it contributed to the US removing him: In response to a western reporter who was asking why he was raising the price of oil, he said, quite correctly that the west needs to wake up. Keeping the price of oil artificially low while the western commodities keep skyrocketing in price for the rest of the world is a disaster for everyone including the west. What they took his meaning being that you reduce the price of your commodities and we reduce the price of oil. But what he was actually referring to, and the reporter in great western tradition interpreted it based on race saying blue eyed people versus brown eyed people, was that the American-British worker then and now and mostly now is used to getting paid a ton of money for a small amount of work that it does. This is subsidized only by robbing other countries of their resources cheaply and selling their own products to them expensively. This cannot be sustained and the american or the british worker needs to come to the realization that either he needs to work harder for the money or get paid less.

The west chose to ignore the message for decades. Now China is shoving this message to the west down its throat by force. And no matter what Biden says or does, that ship has sailed. They can no longer afford to fight an economic war with China, nor can they afford paying the American and British workers so high making the same product that China makes for a fraction of the cost. On this point, America is a ship wreck coming to the end of its saga. Trump just accelerated it. China is all over now and Trump allowed them to be in science as well. If these Chinese vaccines work, why would anyone buy the much more expensive American vaccine? Science will go down the same path as everything else, the Chinese way.

Faramarz,
There were/are many theories about Trump’s presidency and how he became a president. I don’t want to go too deep into that but if it was supported by Russia/Putin, it was successful for them.
I don’t know enough to be sure but today’s America is much weaker and less respected than 4 years ago. This was something that we should have expected after Iraq and Afghanistan disasters but it speed up the past few years.
I’m not sure if Biden or anyone for that matter can fix everything but hopefully they will stop the bleeding...

The fact that Biden takes aim to undo everything that Trump did is necessary. It has to happen. But it also makes Trump look even worse. Not sure how else to describe him beyond "disgraced." Some how it still does not seem befitting or describing all the damage that he did.

Just an example of it: China is already selling COVID vaccine in over 30 countries including several NATO countries. So, the trump era also eliminated scientific leadership of this country in the world. The only thing left is the military. I have no doubt that China will soon take that trophy away from united states as well.
