It was a strange weekend for employees of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, to say the least. On Friday, hundreds of workers at the agency, many of whom have been furloughed since the federal government shut down on October 1, found out they were being fired as part of widespread layoffs across federal agencies. Less than a day later, a curt follow-up email landed in many of their inboxes informing them that they weren’t being let go after all. No explanation, no apology.

Some of these stocks remind me of 1999! Keep going higher double digits weekly, no matter what! Crash will come but in the meantime, make money but be careful.

I have a feeling that Trump needs Iran to play nice for him to take full credit in ME. He will give IRI enough to have a short term impact but long term, it won’t work for Israel or even the Arabs in the region.

This may be celebratory in short term, but sociological implications are not so subtle. US was envy of the world because of her strong n prosperous middle class. Now that is no longer the case, we have a large group of people who are living paycheck to paycheck and then we have a smaller but far more influential n economically well off that are enjoying if not triple digit double digits returns on their investments and becoming even better off. This is recipe for a revolution, ie civil war.

I bought AMD in Spring. I thought it would be up at least 20% by summer. I am now up 88% on the stock! These numbers are unheard of. This is insane.

BTW, I realized Wolf Blitzzer is the Israeli agent at CNN. He was invited prior to announcement of hostage swaps. He’s their man, now he’s all over CNN praising Israel victory

US President Donald Trump has broadened the list of nations invited to the upcoming Sharm el-Sheikh Peace Summit on Gaza, Israeli media reported Sunday.
Channel 12 disclosed that the State Department extended invitations to Spain, Japan, India, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Hungary, El Salvador, Cyprus, Greece, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Canada, expanding the initial roster of participants. While Israel is not expected to attend, Iran was also invited but has yet to confirm its participation.
The summit, hosted by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, is set for October 13 in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh, where the latest Gaza ceasefire was brokered with mediation from Qatar, Egypt, and Turkiye.
According to Axios, Trump will join leaders and senior officials from Germany, France, the UK, Italy, the UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Turkiye, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Indonesia to discuss unresolved issues related to Gaza’s governance, security, and reconstruction.
The meeting aims to consolidate international support for the US-led peace initiative as it enters its next phase.

Once again, Trump and his buddies are making money by manipulating the market! Such an obvious move in the middle of the day and no one questions it! He is brilliant…

I don’t expect GN to be replaced now. There are 2-3 friendly games coming up. If we lose them all or perform poorly, it might happen.
