Comments: Iranian populace, in my humble opinion, are far less adept at world politics than most in West and that’s mainly due to lack of knowledge and exposure to it. They are mostly isolated and only receive bits n pieces thru News channels which are mostly propaganda at best. Iran International on one side of the spectrum and IRIB TV on the other. Some truly see West as their savior and don’t know or care to know the price it exacts. To them, Iran is the center of global politics and everyone is here to solve their problems. The sad part is everyone fills the gap as you said but hardly anyone takes action and when they do (like the tazahorat) it is so disorganized and rudderless that is quickly and sometimes permanently extinguished which makes them to cling to only hope left, foreign intervention even in the form of destructive war
