PARIS (AP) — In a minutes-long strike Sunday inside the world’s most-visited museum, thieves rode a basket lift up the Louvre ’s facade, forced a window, smashed display cases and fled with priceless Napoleonic jewels, officials said.

The daylight heist about 30 minutes after opening, with visitors already inside, was among the highest-profile museum thefts in living memory and comes as staff complained that crowding and thin staffing are straining security.

Last Friday this pitcher from JAP put on a performance that was simply amazing. He had 10 strike outs and hit 3 home runs, remember the pitchers are nokhdi at bat and are not supposed to hit anything [biggrin]

Long Live No Kings. We are seeing a revolution in this country. [biggrin]
The days of dictating n being a world bully is over. This country will surrender n stop bossing the world around. With strong demanding Gen Z [biggrin] n their support of socialism they will have a lot to say for years to come. Two important elections on November 4th one is in east coast one in west. Mamdani for Mayor of New York a hardworking socialist, a Shia Muslim supporting fare-free city buses, housing for needys including immigrants n city owned grocery stores helping homeless n poor people.

The other important election is right here in our state. Proposition 50. Right now in California, Republicans only have 9 of 52 seats in the house that's 17%. With prop 50 redistricting, Republicans will drop to only 4 or 5 seats -[biggrin] can you imagine only 4 or 5 out of the 52 seats California republicans have in Washington. [biggrin]that is only 9% which is huge win for democrats.
Looser Republicans are crying because the state votes 40% Republican in national election but now only 9% representation in the house.[biggrin]

Estimated 7 million people came out in over 2,700 locations. The one in Boston was more like a street party than anything else. Music, dancing and holding hands.
Ebi also was performing in Boston tonight. He is 76 and showing his age. Still, he did a good job in front of nearly 2,000 fans.

We had visitors and were leaving today. So, we had to go to the airport. But on the way back we saw the end of the No King demonstrations. People were mostly dispersing at that time. But seemed to be a very large crowd. One guys was wearing a dinosaur suit.  [rofl]
