Comments: I have watched a few of the women's soccer game sin Olympics and in none that the US played, they showed the initial national anthem for the US. The United States TV only showed the opponent's national anthem. They are now showing Australia-USA game which I think is for the third place. It was the same way today. Only Australia's anthem. And also very disrespectfully they took the knee during their anthem. Why are they doing this? This was so strange to me. Does anyone know why this is?

This olympic is an interesting one for the US. It seems like certain US teams have decided not to use enhancers but some have continued accepting the risk. For example, wrestling, I think is continuing to use enhancers. Track and field and swimming are two sports where there is less doping this year. I have never seen a US athlete become tired during an olympic race. Not ever in the last 40 years. But this year, the US long distance hurdle racer got tired and her leg got caught on the hurdle and fell. It was clear that she was tired, that is all and the commentator also said so. She finished the race but I think in the last spot. I had never seen that in a US athlete. So, some are clearly not doping. But unfortunately, it is a mixed bag in the US teams. ROC stopped doping because they were busted or r using less effective but harder to detect substances and so, their medal count has dropped noticeably. China is difficult to say because most of their success is in sports that is mostly skill-based rather than endurance. Short summary is that do not believe the BS US media hurls out. It is highly controlled. The reality is somewhere else.

Doping is quite prevalent in big teams like US, Russia, china. When u go up against someone who is doping, and because of your technical superiority you end up with more points, because u know that you cannot match the energy level of your opponent for the full duration of the match, u try to slow down and maintain a stable level of energy without giving out points. Yazdani was unsuccessful in this.
