PART II: For this WC, the FIFA is primarily going by ranking for team’s group placement, based on what I have read. In order to ensure we are into the second Pot, we simply have to be ranked in the top-16 in the world, to be safe. This is a lot easier said than done. We are currently in the 21st spot, and the five teams currently above us (16 thru 20) are Colombia, Uruguay, Sweden, Wales and Senegal. Of course this is predicated on whether or not all those teams qualify, but they are all still in the running.

Each game played has a coefficient that is a multiplier to gain points, for supposedly a “Win”. The highest coefficients are given to WC qualifying games (other than of course the WC games, themselves). This means that the remaining three games will give us the best chance of piling up points, on the road to advance to the top 16 in the World.

This means we have to win all three and win with big goal differences, if possible. Other than that, we can schedule some friendlies against top team, again if possible; the higher they are the more potential points to be gained. I realize we do not have the funding to schedule them, as Japan and Arabia do. However, we have a stupendous opportunity to schedule friendly games against very top teams in the World, and that is right after the WC drawing takes place.

What do I mean by that…; I mean that any top-ranked team that has been grouped with Korea, Arabia, Japan, and maybe even Australia would want friendly games against the TOP ASAIN team, which is of course IRAN 

If we can get two such games and perhaps two more friendly games against other WC qualified teams, then we have a great chance of piling up some points to be ranked in the Second Pot.

Good luck to us in the last three games, and we should NOT rest any of our top players, since what they really need is more practice together, and not rest.  And one last thing; as far as our depth goes, we pretty much have what we have now. It is most likely too late (although not impossible) to develop new talents at this late stage of the game. We should focus on our current team; let them “gel together” by playing together and with friendlies, but most importantly, by winning all remaining three games in this qualifying round, to get the maximum point possible.

In regards to ranking issue prior to the WC and its importance; I posted a brief statement a couple of days ago. I am going to elaborate a little more on that topic.

PART I: There is a very good chance that IRAN could be put in the second Pot in a Group stage. But before getting into that discussion, one has to ask whether or not we even want to be in the second Pot. In other words, what is the benefit of second ranking? The answer is a resounding YES! Although all teams that make it to the WC are very strong; they are ranked by FIFA, and as flawed as these rankings are, there is logic behind them that for example second-ranked teams are generally stronger than say, third-ranked teams. Therefore, if we are ranked in the second Pot, we will be in a group with teams ranked 1st, 3rd and 4th (instead of 1st, 2nd and 4th, if we were to be put in the third Pot). This definitely has its advantages; for example, it provides us with the opportunity to play against only one European team as opposed to two (as we did in the last WC, with Spain and Portugal), and we will not be put in groups with Brazil and Argentina, as we were in 2014. This means we may be paired against a CONCACAF team (other than Mexico; which I will talk about shortly, and their early demise has been exaggerated).

So, now that we know being in the second Pot is of great importance, and can make the difference between advancing to the knock-out stage, or an early exit from WC; let’s see how we can accomplish that....

ه گزارش خبرنگار مهر، باشگاه پرسپولیس در حالی تعطیلات زمستانی نیم فصل جاری رقابت‌های لیگ برتر را پشت سر می‌گذارد که مشکلات مالی این تیم باعث اعتصاب دو روزه بازیکنان از تمرین کردن و استعفای یحیی گل محمدی از سرمربیگری این تیم شده است.

گل محمدی در حالی برای بازگشت به این تیم فرصت سه روزه برای حل سه معضل بزرگ تیم نظیر پرداخت مطالبات، جذب بازیکن و تهیه زمین تمرین مناسب را تعیین کرده است که کمتر هوادار این تیم نگران بسته شدن قطعی چمدان‌های گل محمدی است.

از قرار معلوم یکی از شرکت‌های مرتبط با بیمه قراردادی را با پرسپولیس امضا می‌کند که طی آن متعهد می‌شود مبلغی نزدیک به دو میلیارد تومان را در مرتبه اول به این باشگاه پرداخت کند اما رقیب این شرکت در اقدامی جالب توجه به برخی بازیکنان تیم، مبلغی را برای انتشار تبلیغات در استوری‌های اینستاگرامی بازیکنان پرداخت می‌کند.

همین امر باعث می‌شود شرکت طرف قرارداد با باشگاه پرسپولیس قید همکاری با سرخپوشان را فعلاً بزند تا خبری از پرداختی به باشگاه نیز نباشد. در صورتیکه اگر باشگاه‌ها چارت انضباطی در زمینه تبلیغات منحصر به فرد خود را داشتند می‌توانستند درآمدزایی از طریق برند باشگاه را برای تمام اعضای فعال در تیم و باشگاه را قانونی کنند.

بازیکنان پرسپولیس در حالی مشکلات مالی خود را در بوق و کرنا کرده‌اند که راه‌های درآمدزایی خود را از طریق شبکه‌های مجازی دارند اما دست باشگاه را از رسیدن به منابع درآمدی موجود کوتاه می‌کند.
