If you remember the post I had a couple of days ago, regarding the short and long-term goals..., It is obvious that he is NOT thinking long term. 

This is a disaster waiting to happen, I am afraid. we will have the worst WC showing of all time, if we are to go there as unprepared as we are, and with this so called "coach".

All I can say is that this was an embarrassing game for any team, let alone for one that just qualified for the World Cup. 

Faramaez said it right; this was a ick up game and nothing more. Bad passing, lack of concentration, not taking the game seriously..., "Boys are being boys"..., this is a direct result of lack of leadership. Bad coaching.

Lack of discipline is direct result of poor leadership. I think it may be too late to change now, but we will have three BIG Losses at the World Cup, if we do not make the hard decision now and bring someone else.

I recommend watching Japan-Saudi Arabia. Japan is coming together nicely. They have a great team. It is a very exciting game. I think the only team in Asia that rally belongs to top 16 is Japan. Two beautiful goals, especially the second one. We play no where near this level, even though we have better players in many positions. They could have easily won this game 4-0.

Keefer jAn, even an average coach would have subbed Gholi based on his performance a few games ago. My biggest concern is that Gholi probably has connections in the government. And this coach, being a YES man, will just arrange the team as he is told just to keep his job. So, we will go to the World Cup with players and a coach who have taken the TM hostage for their own personal benefits rather than the success of the team. So, we will have a team that is not only poorly staffed but also one that is really not a team but a collection of individuals, each, playing their own tune.

An obviously wrong call gave oman a PK and they tied the game 2-2. Ref seems Arab as well. This is a ton of help to Saudi arabia. Now oman is just rolling on the grass the rest of the way. Australia is learning what it means to be in Asia and play arab teams. I think Australia is done. Because their only chance is to beat Japan in the next game.

در دقایق آخر قلی زاده که چند نفر را رد کرد به وضوح به طارمی پای نداد و وقتیکه طارمی به او اعتراض کرد با اشاره دست جواب او را داد ، در صورتیکه چند لحظه بعد طارمی پاس عالی به او داد که خودش میتوانست بزند ، که قلی زاده به معنی واقعی رید.

سرمربی تیم ملی ایران درباره دلیل بازی ندادن به سیاوش یزدانی و دیگر مدافعان وسط و میدان دادن به امید نورافکن مقابل امارات در دیداری که اهمیت کمتری داشت سئوال پرسید. وی در پاسخ تاکید کرد: شما گفتید نورافکن امروز خوب بازی کرد. این یعنی تصمیم خوبی گرفتم. نیاز بود راه حال جدیدی در قسمت مدافعان تیم پیدا کنم و برای همین انتخاب من امید نورافکن بود. انتخاب درستی بود و او هم خوب بازی کرد.

کار دارد سخت می شود چرا که توقع از تیم ملی بالا رفته است. بازیهای جام جهانی سختی
های خاص خودش را دارد. در چند ماه باقی مانده باید تدارکات لازم برای حضور در جام جهانی را ببینیم. از رسانه ها می خواهم که توقع را بالا نبرند. باید تدارک لازم را ببینیم. دولت هم قول هایی داده است که کمک کند.

Group B is so much more interesting.  Our groups is quite weak. We have been lucky. With this performance, we would not have gotten out of Group B. I am no sure why some were saying our group is not an easy group! I do not think it could have gotten any easier!

Japan killed Saudi Arabia today. And Korea easily won. All the good teams are peaking at the right time. We are the same crap that we have been all along. Every game is a freaking pick up game.

I only saw parts of the game. If it could be called that. Real poor quality for both. The difference is that we are headed to the world cup. Forget about getting out of our group. [bawl]
