Comments: Faramarz, I’m not suggesting to give up on a better coach. I think CQ was one of the best coaches we have had under the current system. Even if we bring him back or bring someone even better, I don’t believe we can improve our standing in the WC. We need preparation, we need better training and much better friendly games. No matter what, I will support our TM. Who knows, we might get surprised…
Comments: Zinsk I agree with you. I think the ability to Advance to the knock off round ought to be shown first in IFF management, in our clubs competitions and the whole culture of playing the game. Every so often we put in new head(s) on the helm of the federation unfamiliar with so many aspects of..... In most instances, clubs are not equipped with their own stadiums and amenities required for a fair preparation for their games. Players and coaches alike are not getting paid on time affecting their whole performance and in most cases leaving their roles for outside earnings. This is most prevalent in our individual sports. Much have been said and discussed on the choice of head coaches between the vatani and foreign coaches and the topic is well exhausted. For every competition, be it Asian games or world cup, we bring together a few legionnaires and in some cockeyed fashion assemble them into a team. Don't take me wrong we have individual players who fit in, mostly well, into foreign teams and leagues but proper utilization of them in a national assembly has been the work of Hazrat-Fil.
Comments: Zinsky jAn I sort of have given up on that idea. Yes, what you suggest would be great bu I do not think we should wait for that. In the short term it is not feasible. But I am not sure that he organization and management is the only way to do better. CQ was the head coach in the same IFF, organization, and management. But did much much better. So, I think we can do better even under current circumstances.

Comments: Iran has advanced to WC! That is great news but… Even though we are in the WC nothing else has changed. We will not have a solid presentation nor will our nation team improve beyond Asia. I don’t see the problem as one that could be changed by bringing a world class coach. Sure, it could improve our game but not enough to be noticed in the results in the WC. We need much, much better organizing management. This is not in our future. Unfortunately, our last WC with 4 points out of 3 games might be as good as it gets for the time being.

Comments: In regards to USA's game last night in the sub-zero temperature (-11 degrees, with wind chill); apparently there have been a lot of questions asked of US Football Federation. They are obviously picking those venue for the Central Americans, because they now their performance will be diminished. If you had asked me, I would have said that is very pathetic, and un-sportsman like. Two of the Starting Honduras players had to be replaced at half time, since they could not continue if such freezing weather. Comments: Egypt - Cameroon was a pretty intense semi final in the African Cup. Egypt won in PKs 3-1. Cameroon did very poorly in the PKs, although they did well in the game.
