Keefer jAn, until others rise to pick up the blue flag you'll have to do it. [smile] I too do not follow IPL that much and am in the same boat, enjoying good players and teams. I though there were plenty of opportunity for Skocic to play Ghaedi. I see a lot of potential in him. But nothing happened. I thought may be he did not believe in GhAedi, but now I do not see any blue players! So strange. I do not think we have had any TM without a blue player!

I would appreciate the video!

Faramarz jan I had previously mentioned here that I do not follow IPL even though I post some news, statement, and results . Yes, I used to be a blue advocate, but it has been a while since I solely care about good football regardless of color and, of course, the love of TM.
As for the presence of Blue players in TM, I had previously placed here Majidy's video complaining to the head coach for not inviting his players while "they have the best defense" and so on. I'll try to find that video again for you.

Bah bah, Hamvatan jAn salam. Welcome back my friend. As you said, please guys ignore the jabs and crazy comments. We really do not have to answer every jab. We have known each other for years and by now know each other so well. So, jabs wont change any one's perspective.

About football, I wanted to say the same thing but Hamvatan you said it much more succinctly. I do not believe that we have any chance of advancing if we go with anything but a defensive scheme. We have Sardar and Taremi, but that is it. Not much more.

It is nice to see the vibrant discussions (sans the pests) in a respectful environment. I have avoided both sites due to some toxic individuals and political propaganda (pro IRI or anti-Iranian nation). I have also been busy with work. But I will join discussions once in a while. I agree with the suggestion to participate and ignore the unwelcomed noise and accusations.

My take on TM in WC: 
I believe we need to add a defensive strategist to the coaching team. It is too late to do wholesale changes. The only change I could see as beneficial would be if CQ was available by summer as he knows the players and team and has their respect. But IRI won't allow it as they won't be in full control.

Again it is nice to see friends posting again.

This is a damn shame. She is so beautiful to watch. She is so much better than the rest. The biggest problem that I have is that she is being accused of taking a heart medication! The claim is that it allows her to increase stamina. But in Ice skating, not much stamina is involved. She is the first woman to do a quad. she did that right at the beginning of her routine. How is the heart medication helping her there?

 

In the mean tine, they are neither banning her nor telling her she can compete. It is obvious that they do not have a strong case against her but are dragging it out to harm her chances. she is losing valuable practice days!

CONMEBOL president says ‘no chance’ of biennial World Cups

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (AP) — The president of South America’s soccer confederation has reiterated that teams from the region would boycott FIFA’s plans for a biennial World Cup and said there is “no chance” that such a proposal will go through.

Alejandro Dominguez, the president of CONMEBOL, told The Associated Press on Thursday that it’s a “waste of time” for FIFA President Gianni Infantino to continue pushing his desire to stage a World Cup every two years.

“CONMEBOL will not play every two years and that is final. … It is a ‘no go,’ there’s no chance,” Domínguez said in an interview. “This (plan) was dead at birth, we have made it clear from day one.”
