Comments: Zinsky and Keefer, You both know where my heart is, of course. But my head is saying that we are not ready; there are too many distraction right now; talk of a new coach; COVID impact; Road game; during our new Year...; too many distractions. The only time that CQ's team lost or tied was when we had similar distractions. That is our weakness; and as long as we allow external issues influence us, we will do poorly. Having said that; I hope I am monumentally wrong about this; no one would be happier, if I am wrong. By the way, I do not agree that CQ team played "defensive"; they played smart, and changed their tactics mid-game when it was necessary. We will not see another coach like CQ in Iran..., EVER!

Comments: Ali khan, very well said. Right on the spot. They say USA this and that and they know they can’t change the US regime. But then by the same token they stay passive about Islamic Republic brutality. There is a reason for it and it is obvious why. They refuse to mirky the image of Islamic Republic for whatever reason. Maybe they find it patriotic. could be denial, could be turning their head the other way, they just don’t like to be vocal about Islamic republic. And the excuse is well we can’t change the regime. Let’s see with USA this and USA that they will change US regime. |
