Rereading of the worrying defeat of TM in Seoul

One

It seemed that the initial composition of the national team was arranged according to the strengths of South Korea, and by the end of the first half, this system worked almost well. Until the unfortunate departure of Khalilzadeh's bravery due to injury, we did not give much opportunity to South Korea, and we probably got the best chance of the game, which Ehsan Hajsefi missed very easily and carelessly. With the brave departure, however, Paolo Bento got what he wanted, and Sun Hyung-min did whatever he wanted to the Iranian national team. For this reason, Khalilzadeh's brave injury was very important. This player is an expert in intensive recruiting and close to the opponent's player, and in the past, he has restrained players such as Baghdad Bonjah and others many times.

Strange message from a member of the board of directors of IFF about Ali Daei and the national team

In a strange tweet, a member of the board of directors of IFF praised Ali Daei, calling him a suitable option to lead the Iranian national team in the Qatar World Cup, but did not directly mention his presence.

According to the Mehr reporter, Team Melli, which qualified for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar under the leadership of Ragan Skucic a few weeks before the end of the qualifying round, ended its invincibility record with a defeat against South Korea. The possibility of dismissing the head coach of this team is raised.

While Team Melli still has to play the remaining match against Lebanon, Ahmed Barati, a member of IFF board, praised Ali Daei in a tweet that seems strange and vague, and made him worthy of being at the head of the national team technical staff. Has known.

Barati wrote in his tweet: "Ali Daei is a valuable national asset and international figure who deserves to lead the national football team of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Qatar. "We do not have much opportunity."

This member of the board of directors of the Football Federation has published this vague message in a situation where Mirshad Majedi as the head of the federation has not yet commented on this matter and it is not clear whether the members of the board of directors of the football federation are decision makers or the head of the federation!

Faramarz, I think he has both the experience and the winning psychic that TM needs. Since his last showing in PP and TM he's become even more weathered than before. And let's not forget his famous "Heart of the Lion" phrase was backed by a knowledge of the game that won the league for Perspolis. His best tribute is that he knows our football. His view of the game is way different than the domestic coach. I think he's among very few coaches that Daei has said nice things about. Also one great advantage is that he's not all about money when it comes to coach teams in Iran. That's one thing IFF likes since they are not such high rollers. One more thing, unlike the foreign coaches he will never take Iran to FIFA courts.

KAmkAr jAn, I do not have a good gauge for how the players would receive Ghotbi. do you think they would accept him as knowledgeable?

At the helm, after Skocic, what is desperately needed is someone who can bring back the chemistry. A lot of this has to do with the trust of the players in the coach. This is also not just based on technical knowledge but knowledge that he will be on the players' side and ask for things that are good for the team and its success. A "YES" man would totally ruin the trust, like Skocic did. I do not know this Carlos dude's record, but whoever takes the help next needs to know what the team and the players need. Before any financial compensation, it is their trust in the coach that is most needed.

One person that IFF should consider as a replacement for Skocic should be Ghotbi.
He has the best of both worlds. Iranian background with high sense of nationality and a good amount of international experience. If he was our coach in this last game there is no way we would have lost to SK.He knows Korean football. He also knows our football inside and out. If I remember correctly his last job was in Chinese league which is one of the fastest growing leagues right now. With him at the helm and NN or Hashemian TM would do much better than with Skocic.

Hamvatan Khan, as long as an imposter is not insulting I am ok with it. The picture posted was not from me either.

HAMVATAN khan, not sure if that is a good move.  I am not saying that Skojic has to stay, but we have to be careful with our alternatives if you recall Wilmoth. who is this alternative? As you alluded the IRI management from IFF to IRGC to banks, schools and Universities  are all inept and are picked from certain sect of the society. Someone has to tell them, please do not touch anything.

Also coaching as a committee won't fly within our culture. Unfortunately in certain situations you need to dictate and not budge.  like an Ali Daei or Qeiuroz. But I am afraid at the end they will give the team to Hamid Estili and Peirovani.

Carlos Carvalhal

Announces today he wants to leave Braga:

Has been interested in Iranian football for a while

Has a really close relationship to his players

Plays one of the most innovative (but also very nice to watch) brands of football I've seen which I think can unlock the talents of TM - whilst also having the classic Portuguese defensive stength

Brought Taremi to Portugal, and appraised him in a way few other coaches have (CQ and Daei aside) - I just loved his interviews about Taremi

Friends with Carlos Queiroz and, links throughout Liga do Portugal

Someone tell IFF...

It looks like South American team that is to face AFC representative (most likely Australia), will be Peru.

As of now, Peru, Colombia and Chile are still mathematically alive; however, Peru has the best chance to qualify, since they are a point better than Colombia (and 2 above Chile), and play their final game at home against Paraguay that is already eliminated.

Iran national football team will meet Lebanon in Mashhad behind closed doors.

The fans are not allowed to enter the stadium due to Covid-19 restrictions.

Team Melli is scheduled to host the Lebanese team on Tuesday at the Emam Reza Stadium.

Iran sits second in Group A with 22 points and will win the group if it beats Lebanon and if South Korea fails to defeat the UAE.

Iran and South Korea have already qualified for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
