Comments: Keefer Jan, Below is how I plan to "Score" the prediction contest: - For the first correct team placement in a Group, the award is One point; - For the second correct team placement in the same Group, the award is additional two points; - For the third correct team placement in the same Group, the award is additional three points; - This means that if someone correctly places all the teams in a given Group, they get awarded with 6 points. With 8 groups, the maximum number of points awarded will be 48 points. If anyone gets 48 points, I want them to pick the lottery numbers for me :))) And I will split our winnings :) For someone who never plays Lottery, this is a big statement.

This will help to still keep it an open forum. "I was wondering if you could add a “Verified” tag next to the handle of a post if the Handle and provided email in the post match. This way anybody can post but if I select to post with email it will expose the imposters."

I do not think that IPs can be automatically posted, but I can post it for specific messages. They are useless though since u can easily use IP redirection or virtual networks to hide your real IP. There are far more effective ways. I noticed that you had Wales and Peru in the 4th POT, which should be in 3rd POT (please see my groupings a few posts below). Your second place teams look good. You did mic your 3rd and 4th POT teams however. Based on today's rankings, I placed them in appropriate POTs.

Comments: Keefer, It looks good; I recorded your changes; good luck! I noticed that you put IRAN in the Group of Death!!! They are with Belgium, which is the highest ranking team in the World; with Netherlands (Yikes!), and with Africa's best which is Morocco. I hope for our sake, that you are wrong As for me, I put us in an easy group, with France, USA and Cameroon. France is a very strong team, that means they should get 3 wins (p points), so the competition is between the remaining three teams to be the second team to advance out of Group Stage. Cameroon is the weakest in Africa (I watched their last two games). And USA..., well, you know about them and I think we can handle them; certainly if we had CQ as the coach :)
Comments: The Draw is scheduled for this Friday at 9:00 a.m. (PST). It will be interesting to see how they will conduct it, when there will still be 3 unknown teams: 1- The 13th and final European team has not been selected since Ukraine is in war. They were scheduled to play Scotland and the winner would play Wales for the final selection (Russia has been expelled, due to their invasion. Although I can understand why that happened; they should not mix Sports with Politics). My prediction Scotland over Ukraine and then Wales. 2- Play off between Asia's 5th (really 6th), against South America's 4th (Peru). UAE will play Australia on June 7th, and the winner will play against Peru on June 13th (or 14th). My prediction: Australia over UAE and then Peru. 3- Play off between Oceania's New Zealand and CONCACAF's 4th (on June 14th or 13th). My prediction: Costa Roca.
