Comments: Canada, Mexico & Costa Rice would be good friendly games for us.
Comments: From Democracy Now: President Biden reportedly warned Chinese President Xi Jinping via video call Friday that China would face “consequences” if it provided material support to Russia amid the war in Ukraine. The call was part of U.S. efforts to minimize an emerging Sino-Russian alliance, which threatens U.S. influence over the Eurasian landmass, says Alfred McCoy, professor of history at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. As U.S. global power declines, China and Russia “are going to emerge as the new centers of global power on the planet,” he adds.
Comments: The importance of analysis and team information Morteza Mohases says: "I think we need a group of experts and qualified people for analysis. With one or two people, we can not send the national team to the World Cup. We need to work with reputable companies. Carlos Queiroz did this quietly at the 2014 World Cup, with a Canadian who later wrote in a book that he said he was an analyst. You can not work today without data. We also have successful and worthy people in Iran. We have to see where the rest of the world has gone and how they are preparing."
Comments: The results of our first game sets the stage for the rest. It is unfortunate that we did not end up with a weaker team in the group. Can we call the rest weaker teams? Right now, for us no. This view might change, as stated by our resident analysts, by arranging relevant friendlies, with or without a new coaching staff. The word relevant is the key necessity.

Comments: Shahryar jan, I myself realizing the hazzards awaiting us in the big dance, have way passed the stage of favoring this coach for the continuation of our trip. I was simply pointing to the psychic of our people inside of Iran split between him and another. All your reasonings are all masterfully stated and I feel delighted that you share them with us here! I see it is customery here not to pay attention to what stated inside the country I try to get a feel of what the fans have to say inside of Iran. I have developed that habit now that I have some time on hand. Their thoughts and opinions are very widely divers unlike us here. To read them tells us where they come from.
Comments: April 4, 2022 — Tehran (AFP) Iran said Monday it will only return to Vienna in order to finalise an agreement to revive its landmark 2015 nuclear deal with world powers, with the last steps dependent on Washington. Tehran has been engaged in long-running negotiations in the Austrian capital to revive the deal, known formally as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), with Britain, China, France, Germany and Russia directly, and the United States indirectly. "We will not be going to Vienna for new negotiations but to finalise the nuclear agreement," foreign ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh told reporters in Tehran. However, Iran said there were still outstanding issues that it was waiting on Washington to settle. "At the moment, we do not yet have a definitive answer from Washington," Khatibzadeh said. Comments: Biden needs to quickly realize that he needs to form new alliances like it was done 50 years ago between united states and saudi arabia. He should recognize that like cheap hookers the arab countries will head any which way for their own pockets even after 50 years of USA defending their brutal dictatorships. However odd, he should be seeking alliances with countries like Venezuela and Iran. He is well on his way to do this. So, we may be witnessing some realignments in the world because of the collapse of petrodollar or the threat of it.

Comments: Keefer, This is about our future football and how we will do in WC. This is not about whether we "owe" anybody. for what is at stake, the question is completely irrelevant. We have to bring in whom we think can take us to the next level. I have not seen this coach do that. The only semi-tough team he faced was Korea and he got 1 point in two games. the Teams in WC are much tougher than Korea.
Comments: Please take a look at the comments posted at the end of the article in the last post . We are stuck between our hearts and minds. To let the man who took us there to go with us or hire a a new one. We owe him but we also owe it to ourselves.

Egypt boss Carlos Queiroz is set to take time off until the Egyptian Football Association receive a verdict for their appeal against Senegal.
The Pharaohs failed to book a spot in the 2022 World Cup in Qatar after losing to Senegal over two legs in the final round of the qualifiers.
Despite going into the second leg with an advantage following their 1-0 victory in Cairo, Egypt couldn’t capitalise on their momentum and conceded an early goal in the return leg.
With long stints of sustained pressure, Egypt struggled to find any rhythm throughout the game but still managed to hold the scoreline to 1-1 on aggregate and send the game to penalties.
Surprisingly, the shootout saw Liverpool star Mohamed Salah sky his penalty with teammates Ahmed Sayed Zizo and Mostafa Mohamed also missing from the spot.
The game was also surrounded by controversy with many believing it should be replayed after Senegal fans pointed lasers at Egypt players during the shootout.
In addition, the Egyptian team bus got delayed and attacked ahead of the game, which led to reports of the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) requesting to postpone the game by 30 minutes.
The EFA also claimed that the team was under the subject of racism due to some of the offensive banners in the Senegalese stands aimed at skipper Mohamed Salah.
As a result, the hostile atmosphere forced the EFA to lodge a complaint and file an appeal for the game to be replayed in a neutral venue.
As they await a response, the EFA released a statement on Sunday announcing that Carlos Queiroz will be on temporary leave until a verdict is reached.
“The Board of Directors of the EFA, led by Gamal Allam had a meeting with Portuguese coach Carlos Queiroz, during which he presented a detailed report on the Senegal game and the events that unfolded throughout the match,” the EFA said in a statement.
“It was agreed during the meeting that Queiroz would receive time off to travel to his country until a decision was made in the appeal submitted to the FIFA and CAF regarding the second leg of Egypt’s match against Senegal on March 29th.”
