Comments: ‼️🚨🇮🇱🇺🇸🇮🇷 Israel is preparing for the collapse of the US-Iran peace deal, instructing its military to continue developing target banks and readying for future escalation, Maariv reports. Israeli officials believe the agreement is unlikely to endure, despite acknowledging Israel has not been granted full access to the finalized text. Minister Zeev Elkin says Israel was completely excluded from negotiations and considers itself uncommitted to the deal’s terms — stating the MOU holds no binding authority over Israeli actions.
Comments: No problem Faramarz; I just sent you an update, by the way :)
Comments: By the way, our trip to SoFi stadium started at 11am from SD and we got back at midnight. Some of us had to have roulette and tea at 9:30pm before they could continue.
Comments: Shahryar jAn, I will post the table as soon as I get a chance. After skipping work on Monday and recovering yesterday. I am now in meetings almost all day. But in between, I will get to the table.

Comments: Trump finally was forced to do the right thing. IMO this is the best way forward and although I do not see much hope (because of Israel), I do wish that the 60 day negotiations also produce positive results that includes Iranian control of the Straight and Iran remaining in NPT.
I am not trying to defend Trump but a few things were unreasonable expectations from him: 1. Democrats, Republican, and Israeli expectations: The expectation here was that Trump execute the policies that previous presidents (includes many democrats as well as republicans) have set. Trump ran on an America-only platform. This included pulling out of WHO, NATO, and many other international organizations. How did they expect him to go and defend all these bases in other countries that previous administrations created for the time when defending other countries becomes a necessity? It has always been obvious that Trump's heart is not in this and will do what is barely minimum necessary but against a tough adversary, defending these bases will become the first sacrificial lamb. 2. Arab expectations: They expected that by housing US military bases, it will come to their defense. All previous presidents democrats and republicans all encouraged this belief in the GCC states. This is the least of Trump's priorities and as we saw, he did not at all try to defend the GCC countries. True that Iran's nasty indefensible missiles had a lot to do with it. But expecting that Trump will spend a lot of energy, money, and political capital to defend them, IMO, was unrealistic. As soon as he got elected, if I were the GCC, I would have done my best not to create a conflict because I would have guessed that Trump would abandon me first. It was incredibly foolish for them to think otherwise. Now, they will have to pay through their teeth. And, their economies will not recover for many year. The negative sentiment has also risen incredibly. Before this war, there was talk of naming the Persian Gulf something else. Today, instead, I heard on news a republican congressman say that GCC countries are not really countries. He said they are artificial creations and referred to them as US' gas stations. Look how low they have sunk. All very poor policies on their end, IMO.
Comments: Who knows? Maybe this war was needed for US and Israel to diverge from their position. US/Trump seems to understand that helping Israel at all costs is just too much! Can US/Trump find a way to leave Middle East without being forced by Israel? That is the question that needs to be addressed.
Comments: I give this a week before it is broken by Israel and then Iran retaliates. This is a good time to identify politicians, media outlets and social media accounts that are Israeli guided. They are all at Trump's throat.

Comments: Two months of final negotiations will begin immediately after the initial deal between the US and Iran is signed on Friday. Negotiations will continue for a 60-day window after the ceremony, officials told AFP, leading to a plan for the lifting of economic sanctions and decisions on the fate of Iran’s nuclear programme. A US-Iran deal aimed at ending the Middle East war will be signed at Switzerland’s mountainside Burgenstock resort on Friday, the Swiss foreign ministry confirmed to AFP. The site, located near Lucerne in central Switzerland, is difficult to access and therefore easily secured. It “was proposed by the Pakistani and Qatari mediators, as well as by the US and Iran”, Switzerland’s foreign ministry said. Trump said that he would send the deal with Iran to the US Congress for a review. “I like the idea, send it to Congress please,” he said at the start of a meeting with the UAE president Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the sidelines of the G7 summit. “I mean who wouldn’t approve it.” Speaking at the G7, US president Donald Trump has said the strait of Hormuz will be open by Friday and that the full text of the peace deal will be released in a “formal setting”. Trump also said he expects the “second stage” of the deal “to go quickly”. The US will allow Iran to immediately start selling oil and fuel again as part of the deal to end the war, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing sources familiar with the matter. Iran can only sell oil if they keep to the terms of the deal, as US official told Reuters. It includes the free flow of navigation in the strait of Hormuz and not obtaining an nuclear weapon. An Iranian deputy foreign minister on Tuesday said the two-month US naval blockade on Iranian ports had been lifted ahead of the planned formal signing of a deal ending the war. “The lifting of the blockade was something we had emphasised from the outset. It has now begun, and the blockade has been lifted prior to the formal signing” scheduled for Friday, said Iranian deputy foreign minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi, according to the government’s website. John Thune, the US Senate majority leader, has reportedly asked the Trump administration for the text of the MOU with Iran. However, he says he has had no response so far, Punchbowl News’s Andrew Desiderio. Hezbollah believes Iran will not sign a nuclear deal with Washington unless Israel pulls its troops from southern Lebanon and told Reuters it understands that Tehran will push for Israel’s withdrawal in its next phase of talks with Washington. Hezbollah’s media office said such a withdrawal would be the result of, and not a precondition for, the next set of talks between Iran and the US, set to begin after the two formally sign their memorandum of understanding this coming Friday. The US must uphold every clause of the memorandum of understanding (MOU) between Iran and US, particularly when it comes to ending the war in Lebanon, Ebrahim Azizi, the head of the Iranian parliament’s national security commission, posted on X on Tuesday. “Iranian resilience forced a strategic pivot: the US came to the table on Iran’s terms,” Azizi wrote. “Now, Washington must prove its commitment by ending the war against Lebanon and upholding every clause of the MOU. Any breach will be met with a decisive, crushing response.”
Comments: Reality is that TM has been held back by the political situation in Iran for many years. Revolution, Iraq war, sanctions, war with Israel and US, mismanagement and more mismanagement! It’s hard for any coach to adjust and adapt. CQ did well for a while but even with him in charge, the system was pushing back. With all that said, TM should play better than this. I’m not talking about results only. We should just play better. Iraq lost big yesterday but looked really good for a good while before couple of mistakes throw their game plan. Iran has valid excuses about this WC but if they want to play better, they need a better coach and younger players. I’m hoping with WC over, they might get a refresh and overhaul the whole team and coaching staff. Even at my age, I can hope, right???
