Comments:  سخنگوی سابق سازمان تربیت بدنی به صورت رسمی اعلام کرد که برکناری علی دایی از سرمربیگری تیم ملی ایران در فروردین ۱۳۸۸ و بعد از باخت به عربستان با دستور نهاد ریاست جمهوری بوده است. به گزارش خبرنگار مهر، فروردین ماه ۱۳۸۸ و بعد از باخت تیم ملی فوتبال ایران مقابل عربستان در رقابتهای انتخابی جام جهانی ۲۰۱۰ آفریقای جنوبی بود که به یکباره اعلام شد علی دایی سرمربی تیم ملی از سمت خود برکنار شده است. این برکناری در حالی رخ داد که هنوز تیم ایران برای صعود به جام جهانی شانس داشت اما با برکناری دایی و حضور افشین قطبی، تیم ملی در نهایت از راهیابی به جام جهانی آفریقای جنوبی بازماند و ناکامی بزرگی را تجربه کرد.

Your scenario may not be too far off from reality, it is like a family feud and now that they are all financially challenged they are pulling the rug from under each other's feet . Zinsky Khan, there is only one answer, RUSSIA. Russia is fully supporting them and trust me not for free. We have to once in for all get rid of this vabastegi, be it US, Russia, UK, or China. I hope everything goes to the right direction for Iran to become a true independent normal democratic country as our friend Shahryar khan keeps mentioning, and for our hamvatans specially the youngsters. Comments: There are million issues with iran and IRI but the major issue I see is the fact that for 43+ years, they have been in the survival mode. Everything they do is to stay alive and in power. Anything else is just accidental or side effects. There are no plans for long term improvement. All plans are for short term gain and survival. Unfortunately, that has transferred to average Ali as well.
Comments: Observer, I do not know all the details but what I do know is IRI ruling class is like Cosa Nostra Mafia (ruled by families) that go to limited war with each other when they feel they don't get a fair share of spoils. The last guy Khadem did not share enough and they replaced him with the new Don with Sepah connection. Again I don't care about details as the accusations may not be all true but one thing I do know is that since IRI we have been going backwards with no step forward. It makes it easy to see how incompetent and corrupt IRI is at all levels.
