Comments: This really sucks. With Sardar in place, CQ would have moved Taremi to the offensive midfield position significantly improving the midfield. Without him, Taremi will have to play the target and that no only allows the opponents to cover him easier rather than when he comes deep from the midfield, and further weakens the midfield, our weakest line, imo.

Comments: Thanks Keefer and Faramarz aziz, This will indeed be a huge blow to our chances of advancing, for the first time. I agree that being called healthy enough to play is one thing, and actually being fit to play, another thing. Based on the information you two provided below, it is unlikely that Sardar can start in any games for us; but could perhaps come in the last 10~15 minutes of games to see if he can contribute. I hope we are all mistaken about his injury and that he can recover in 2-3 weeks, instead of 6 weeks.

Comments: Shahryar jAn, Keefer has dug a lot mor einto this, but my read of the situation is hat Bielefeld physicians have said that he cannot play for 6-8 weeks, depending on progress. So, his does not sound like a minor thing. He is put on the maybe list. I think this is because even if he fully recovers after 6 weeks, the question will be his fitness and readiness. 6 weeks will be right around when we have our three games! If all of this is true, it is really unfortunate.

Comments: No Keefer jAn. I read it somewhere. I will look for it. It does make sense though. He has several important qualities which are needed to be improved in TM: 1) distribution, 2) interception. We do not have both of these in a single player right now. Distribution is a major weakness, IMO.
