Comments:  در فاصله کوتاه تا جام جهانی هنوز وعدههای مسئولان درباره میزبانی در جام جهانی تحقق نیافته است. سپهر ستاری: از زمان انتخاب کشور قطر به عنوان میزبان جام جهانی ۲۰۲۲ وعدههای زیادی در خصوص همکاری ایران در میزبانی این مسابقات شنیده میشد. در آن زمان حتی صحبت از این بود که علاوه بر اسکان هواداران تیمهای مختلف در مناطق جنوبی، چند بازی جام جهانی هم در ایران برگزار شود که البته از همان ابتدا مشخص بود این اتفاق شدنی نیست اما در خصوص بحث اسکان تماشاگران و کشورها صحبتهای زیادی وجود داشت و با توجه به شرایط دو کشور دور از ذهن هم نبود. وعدههایی که حالا در آستانه برگزاری هنوز محقق نشده و به نظر میرسد همکاری ایران در میزبانی جام جهانی فعلا در حد حرف و رویا باقی مانده است.

Comments: Zinsky, Thanks for the reports and welcome back. I heard something very similar to your comments from my nephew, who can "occasionally" send me a "WhatsApp" text. They are mostly restricted and very limited with Internet access.
Comments: One thing I noticed, maybe more than anything else, is the total disgust people feel for Islam as a whole. Not just this group of people ruling Iran but all the way back to Mohamad. Even the ones who were not radical but just religious in the past are starting to see the real meaning of religion. I have never seen people curse anything to do with Islam as much as now.

But one thing she said that was exactly what you said is the determination for change. Parents and grandparents are supporting these young people. The regime propaganda keeps talking about tajzieh and iran will become like Syria but none of the intellectuals are going for it. Comments: Turkish, Emirate and Qatar airlines fly regularly. Lufthansa and Austrian fly from Europe. Not sure about the rest. Turkish has the best time from East coast and in most cases the cheapest.

Comments: Back from Iran. Short trip but amazing one, nevertheless! Amount of anger, despair, hope and frustration is more than ever I have ever seen. Just about everyone I meet, from family and friends to strangers in the street, are ready for some sort of change. In Tehran, most women and young girls don’t wear hejab. I didn’t see any mass demonstrations but multiple small gatherings with people chanting, honking and showing their dislike of the system/government. Prices are to the roof. Streets are emptier than usual. Disagreements are evident in regards to the future but almost everyone expect changes and they are determined to make it.l happen. People are very aware of the world events and how it effects their lives. They are worried about their future and compare it to the neighboring countries and don’t want east or west influences to derail the future. Younger generation are not going to take the abuse anymore, no matter what. Change is coming but no one can predict how.
